PassingShot: If I had the power, I will "jejely" carve out Biafra from Nigeria and allow them go in peace.
I am sick and tired of their victim mentality even though they're not the most marginalized people in Nigeria. Is there any region that has not shouted of marginalization at one time or the other in the country's history? Did any of them ever clamor for secession?
The NC has been marginalized from time immemorial. The SS (untill GEJ) was marginalized. Under GEJ, the Yorubas cried of being marginalized. It was under the same GEJ that the Igbos were in charge of the nation's economy. Then, they couldn't have talked of marginalization but now that they've realized they may not get the presidency without aligning with the Hausas and Yorubas they hate so much, suddenly they cry of being marginalized? If we may ask, how is the Igbo tribe being marginalized under PMB? Did u hear Oyegun speak the other about how Igbos gathered their eggs in one basket ? Buhari's 5/97 percent comment ? Where is that ever done in a democratical setting ? Once elected, u don't rule based on what votes u got as it's the voter's right to vote their choice. In an ideal democratic setting, such statements shoul ahve made him step down from that seat as he is not ready to rule but came to revenge. Passingshot, u don't need to wish u have the power to carve out Biafra. This isn't about marginalization, Biafra has gone beyond receiving compensation to keep calm. Restructring might not even work again. Sthing bigger is going to happen in Nigeria. If the way of peace is not pursued by FG herself, i doubt there won't be bloodshed. I repeat, FG should stop being fooled about her military might and see beyond unarmed civilians protesting in the streets. |

How else can one know the minds of the people if the protest that brought out millions of pple is not enough. Ur pple took to the streets and a body dat said it's representing them came to speak against them. Scrap that ohaneze already, we don't need such body. What have ohaneze done for the Igbos ? Where have they spoken for us in national issues in our interest ? What is the need of that body ? Like the article said, their domant attitude makes nobody knows their names. Let's start from killing our corrupt Igbo leaders silently b4 we move out. Then scrap that body if they are not standing for Igbo, cos i do not see reasons why their stand will be different from that of those they are representing. This is it. Not like some who would come and shout South South like South South is a tribe.
The problem here is that, in Nigeria, we have dull brains as leaders and country men who don't do things in a civil way. They only understand the violent attitude.
Nigeria break up will correct many mistakes. If Hausa/yoruba feel they earn pride from Nigerian landmass and population and would wish we remain one, then there is need to discuss terms of coexisting, otherwise, god will certainly correct mere lugard's mistake in no time.
To my sophisticated fools, in a civilised world, u lure pple not join a course with actions and incentives and not with propaganda. If i were u, i would promise them 50-50 resource control with FG for them not to consider joining Biafra and not telling them with ur cursed mouth how they will be treated in a nation with Igbos that they can as well eenjoy 100 percent resource control. If you so much hate Igbos and would want them to go alone and suffer, why not start with drawing Ijaw,Ogoni, Ibibio etc with policies and restructuring to intimidate Igbos and their Biafra, but no, u do not have any good intentions for them reason u embark on propaganda to tell them what u only conceive in ur gullible minds of what Biafra will look like or nonsense reasons y they shouldn't opt out.
One wonders why they kicked against establishing that shipyard in SS when they should have encouraged such project to keep them in One Nigeria. |

Dalu Ohanaeze ndi Igbo is made up of Nigerian 7 states, go figure out urself. When we separate from Yoruba we will know who is feeding who. OP, there are two things that will happen in the coming days. knowledgeable: Trash....any individual who shout unity or one Nigeria without first explaining how that can be achieved or the mechanics of it, it's an idiot to me.
Any individual, who does not see that the Igbo ethnic group is more of a Nigerian than the Yorubas and hausa/fulanis both in spirit and in physical, but have come to the conclusion that the Nigerian complex problems are in its foundational dysfunctional structure, and therefore want a restructure or they opt out....is an idiot to me.
Idiots, Nigerian complex and complicated problems, are not bad leadership, corruption and etc, but a foundational dysfunctional structure, that will never never ever see Nigeria transform into a modern progressive society. The Yorubas and hausa/fulanis are bent on defending this foundational dysfunctional structural flaws, while the best Nigerians (the Igbos) see no value in it and wants out.
Idiots, Igbos understand that, a dysfunctional lopsided political structure cannot do anything or come up with a modern solutions to the fulani herdsmen slaughtering unhindered, cutting open and spilling the brains of six months old babies, destroying farmlands at will with no consequences. The ideal of one progressive Nigeria fits into the realm of the Igbo reality, just as the reality of hellish Nigeria is completely rejected in the realm of Igbo reality. Thank you bro. Since 1960 these hope for Nigeria chanters have refused to make reasonable effort in getting Nigeria where it should be, yet they won't accept to let others try their ideas to make things work. Ishiamu pls, what are u doing to restructure Nigeria ? What time are we getting the restructuring kicking off ? Since 1966 till date has not been enough to achieve ur restructuring ? Pls let those who want to go to go, then u can keep trying ur failed system over and over again in Nigeria. |

kingzizzy: Your parents are from the east, I will assume your parents are Igbo.
Your stupiditiity is incredible. How did you let Nigeria brainwash you this way that you don't know the truth? So you think you are a Nigerian? My brother, no such thing exists! You are an Igbo man to the Hausa and Yoruba man regardless whatever you think you are and you will treated as such by them. It doesn't matter if you were born in Yoruba land or lived their most of your life, you are still a 'visitor' to them. If they are rioting and killing Igbos in the north, nobody will remember you are a Nigerian. So where is the Nigeria you are talking about? In 1966, over 50,000 easterners, men, women and children were massacred all over Nigeria mainly in the north. You think anybody remembered they were Nigerians? What would you have done if you were Ojukwu and this was happening to your people? You would folded your hands and said "carry on killing my people we are one Nigeria"?. And you said Ojukwu started a war? How did he start a war? Who did Ojukwu declare war on? The same Ojukwu went to Ghana and signed an agreement to keep Nigeria one, who broke that agreement? The only thing Ojukwu did was to declare his people a separate nation, it was your so called Nigeria that came down to the east to shoot the place up, it was your same Nigeria that came to starve millions of kids to death. Yet you say Ojukwu started a war. This same Nigeria is nothing but a creation of the White man. So Ojukwu, an indigenous African Igbo man had no right to declare his people Biafrans, but it is Lugard, a white man from Europe who has the right to come down to Africa to declare all of us 'Nigerians'? Does that really sound right to you? Nigeria is an illegal nation and Nigeria only came down to the east to fight for oil. Yes your family lost people during the war, but so did every family. Some people were forced into the Biafran Army but that was towards the end of the war when manpower was low. It was regrettable but desperate times call for desperate measures.
You said Kanu commited treason? Treason means to 'actively' undermine or try to remove a Government through undemocratic means. Your current president, Buhari, commited high treason in 1983 when he kicked out the democratically elected Government of Shagari. Will you ever call for Biuharis prosecution? Probably not. But you say that Kanu commited treason for operating a London based Radio station where he is agitating for the freedom of his people from the British invention called Nigeria. I laugh in Igbo.
Facts: A Nigerian is just a west African answering the slave name given to him by white men, a Biafran is a west African who has refused that slave identity and wants to be free.
The war was caused and started by Nigeria in other to continue the exploitative agender of Lord Lugard.
The war had nothing to do with the unity of Nigeria, it had all to do with oil. You think that if it was the North that had the oil, they would not have divided Nigeria long time ago?
Your ethnic nationality is where your first allegiance should be, they are the only ones who will be there for you when chips are down.
You can tell your self you are a Nigerian all you want, but outside your ethnic land, you will always be a mere "migrant"
Get some sense into your head before is too late! My dear, u believed dat silly klax with his nonsense story to be Igbo ? If i were there when u wanted to reply him, i would have stopped u. Since 1970 till now, he is still planning to revenge. Isn't dis a story told to toddlers ? |
