Who is even saying insurgebcy is as a result of poverty ? Are Islam faithfuls only the ones faced with poverty ? Are other religions living wealthier than Islam. All over the world, no violence without Islam. Wat are they trying to achieve ? Meanwhile, my thought on the initial issue raised is that overtime, due to the poor handling of the Boko Haram issue by the Nigeria Army - as seen in attempts at mutiny, leaked operational plans & actual fleeing from the battleground - the military has lost credibility in the sight of the international media. It'll take more few successes to change this perception.
