You have a point there but the south also has a fair share of the blame. We just need to change the narrative from hating each other due to our differences to leveraging what we have in common. Look at the level of intolerance in Nairaland for instance, even amongst supposedly educated folks.

The gesture by the leadership of UAE should speak volumes to us as Nigerians especially in these very trying times when the fabric of oneness of this nation is badly torn.

Hello peeps, am really confused as I'm typing this.
Recently I subscribed to Mtn 'Do Not Disturb' Me package. It wasn't long I noticed I can't receive third party sms i.e bulk sms.
Immediately I noticed this I quickly proceeded in deactivating it.
The problem now is that I still can't receive third party messages. No job interview invites is coming in anymore. Just last week I met someone helping in securing a contract, he told me a bulk sms was sent to all the applicants. I told him I didn't receive any but he thought I was lieing.
Pls what can I do to start receiving third party messages back. I have made several calls to mtn customer care and I have texted ALLOW to 2442 several time but still no solution.
Am worried pls anyone affected too and how were you able to resolve this?

They will be more interested in fixing theirs vs. fixing ours ...and rightly so.

What I don't understand is why we are not interested in fixing ours. There is so much opportunity in Nigeria and West Africa that we as a nation can prosper from. We keep looking outward when we should look inward !!

I dont get you! The subsidy budget is a 3 - year budget and its timeline in in line with the above. Besides, a budget is a financial plan! The actuals might be different and it makes sense to budget for the worst case scenario . Why don't you guys see anything good in this country?

I will always respect Dangote and Adenuga 'cos their money ( and I don't care where they made them from) mostly resides in Nigerian economy and we are seeing the multiplier effects!... Why is it not possible? What's in those countries?

The issue here is that my number is programmed into the phone and the thief (broke into my house) has been using the phone to make calls and police is not helping due to the lengthy process to get approval from Abuja to get the identities of the people called using my stolen phone.
