DonJoeSneh: Hello Bosses in the house...please i just want to go into this business fulltime. Been trying to save up for a while now as i heard Corolla is the best. But the money kept reducing following one thing or the other. Now i am determined to start.
I have 1.2m presently, and i learnt i can't get a good Corolla toks with it. So my questions are.
1. Can i get a Camry Big Daddy toks for that amount? 2. Can i run it with big Daddy successfully? Talk to Gazzuzz, may be could get you a good naija used coro Or if u can wait for like 3 months, talk to amdman, may be he could get u something with that amount. But big daddy is also a good option. |

May be im already used to tecno battery life, but I enjoy the V20 as well. 4gb Ram and 64 internal memory isnt too bad to get for 31k |

Prince3: the trip was an uberX. What kind of car and year do you use and secondly, how does Uber cover their loss after paying for riders.. Does Uber blocks the rider or fine them?. Please am curious though e no concern me shaa. Just want to know Such riders are billed with the previous outstanding debt in the next trip. Happens like this; Say the rider owes ubee 1k, the rider on another time orders a trip, the trip is normally 1k but ends up being charged as 2k. Driver collects 2k for a trip of 1k, uber takes back the 1k from the driver's card earnings. Reason drivers must always collect what is shown on the app, even if uber brings 3k for a fare of 400 naira, because uber will assume the driver has collected the cash and will take back its money from the card earnings |

Vision2045: Yes bro.. The one issued after capturing but the validity date is passed and when I went there to collect permanent all they did was to ask me to do photocopy and they stamped it extending the date to January 2020. They said their network is bad and they are very busy this December Oh I see. I advise you go to bolt office. I had issue with my DL as well, the picture of my DOB wasnt so clear. After days of failing to upload, I went to uber office, they asked my DOB and other blurred details on the DL and it was accepted instantly. |

eyinola: I love ur analysis bro,i am looking at working for 8 hours everyday I.e 8am to 4pm starting by January..btw is dru23 a car name now Yes, it is named after a certain man who drove the argument that honda civic is better than corolla and then popularised its usage on the platform. I guess you already own that muscle? Give it a trial, but after a week or weeks, sit down to do your cost vs profit analysis to know if you're to continue with the car. Good luck again. |

Vision2045: All protocol observed..
Kindly assist me with answer to the following
1. I registered for bolt and I did the online test on my phone and got a completion/success message after the test and was asked to download the app, which I did, I have being trying to log in but all the credentials I entered keep saying error. Please any advise on this
2. I registered for uber and I submitted the necessary documents but it keeps rejecting my drivers license.. It's temporary as frsc ppl said gheir network is bad and just keep stamping it for me... Kindly advise
Thanks For your no 2. What is frsc stamping? Paper? I think only coloured temporary DL given after capture would be accepted. |

eyinola: what abt camry muscle? If the car is already yours, you might try it and see if the profit are good enough to override the cost. But it is advisable it isn't used full time, perhaps weekend. But I want to believe you might have few offline clients in just lil time, based on your car and customer treatment. But if you're planning to buy a car for this husssle, I may not advise it to be considered for full time ehailing becuase of fuel consumption and maintenance cost. Afterall, what you earn from X distance on a trip with muscle camry is what another driver earns on the same trip with dru23 or Coro. But one thing is most certain, muscle camry will fetch you good offline deals as times go onPlenty good luck bro. |

Im also planning to stick with uber. Thanks bro. I dont have problem waiting or being patient for a better result. Wishing us all the very best this year as it rounds up and beyond. Felicity001: You’re right jor... as for me I’ll just stick to only Uber as soon as I get back work because for me, there’s an extent I tolerate and since guys don’t want to come together and make things right na to just boycott them for some time till I start seeing testimonies about bolt.
Yes, Oga GAZZAZZ and I had a great chat but it’s unfortunate we couldn’t strike a balance due to some bad experience he has had with some bad people/drivers. The bad once always go ahead to spoil the way for the good once coming from behind. So he already made up his mind not to go that path again. Though I managed to convinced and then he was ready to shift grounds, but I made a little mistake counting my chicks even before they were hatched so negotiations broke down and the person that gave an offer for the car didn’t show up again.
Though everything is still in line and I’m positive that soon I’ll be back on the road with something real good.
Just be patient and don’t rush into settling for just any car. Just take your time “the patient dog eats the fastest born”. |

Felicity001: So how far matters arising? Are y in or out?
Also, can you summarize on Uber, bolt n Ocar which among pays better. I think the analysis was done here recently and it was shown thar uber is slightly better. But i'm of the view of sticking to a platform one is comfortable with so one meets the bonus on time and lower commission rates. Just have other platforms by the side and switch incase the darling platform misbehaves. My own opinion. BTW, I still need a car for rental. Good morning and good day everyone. Were u finally able to chat with Gazzuzz about the car swap u talked about? |

EngrVin: Guys in the business, kindly respond to this. I'm also thinking towards such, but I will need a driver when the time comes There are various cars good for this business; ranging from popular options like Hyundai, Toyota Corolla, camry (Big daddy), honda civic, someone even uses benz c230. But the popular sentiment is that corolla is the best for this business interms of fuel economy, cost of maintenance and strength but there is another school of thought driven by dru23 that honda civic is a better option than corolla with the claim that it is more fuel efficient than corolla, less cost of maintenance, better interior and even comes cheaper than corolla. With civic, it is quicker to recoup your investment than corolla because it is less expensive. So in essence, you may narrow your optons to corolla, civic and seek more advices on these brands as regards to ehailing Less I forget, Uber accepts 2000 upward while bolt accepts from 2003 upward. You may consider nothing less than 2003 brand so that your car is accepted across all platforms. For your car registration on uber, you need 1. Valid insurance docs 2. Lagos state road worthiness. 3. Vehicle inspection report from the center accredited by any of these ehailing platforms. In terms of investment, you can either take the rental or hire purchase options. I think I've tried a bit. BTW, I need a car for rental. Good luck. |

bigiyaro: guys, my bros is arranging to get me a corolla by Jan or Feb. please, between Lagos and abuja, where can one make good money on e-hailing? though I know Lagos is more hectic than abj but I don't mind that. Obviously lagos. But if you're already resident in Abuja, you can stay put at Abuja and make your money, though not as lagos, since the car is yours. But if you're thinking of relocating to either Lag or Abuja for this biz, lagos is the better place of the two options and the best place overall in Nigeria for ehailing. |

About the China stuff, you're right. Though my China dreams is purely offline business and manufacturing and also for dropshipping into the US market. See bro, any country you choose and you need a naija Rep for your biz, I'm game. Good luck. iLegendd: I didn't proofread, so ignore errors.
If you know me on this forum, you'll know I no longer like school as I used to. After my BSc., I vowed not to go back.
At that time, an uncle brought 2 scholarships — one for Nigeria and the other for abroad from Total.
As a humble nephew to him, because I respect him, I appreciated it and told him I'll look for admission, but I didn't put any effort in looking for the admission and in the end, he gave them to people who were serious about school.
Another one is: my dad he paid for me to go do masters in Unilag and after picking the form and wasting money, I didn't turn up on the the aptitude test day because it rained. All these happened before Buhari took over.
The reason I created this post is, everything that happened some years ago is about to repeat itself.
Another uncle, my dad's second younger brother, who works with total as a senior staff called me on the 23rd of December and we had a total of 2 hours call on phone. Since I don't call him to beg him for money, he respects me just the same way I respect him.
The call was fun. He told me so many cool things, especially on investment and humility. He told me a story of how he used to suffer back then in 2011 when he was doing his master and the job he had was on hold.
He told me how he used the 2 million he saved from that short-lived work to buy land somewhere in PH while his friends were all buying cars.
How he secretly built a two storey building duplexes without letting anyone know and started generating income from house rent and how he lives on a low key.
Till today, I don't know that house since he doesn't live there. Also, till today, he doesn't own a car and he isn't married yet. He loves Ned Nwoko — maybe, he is his secret mentor.
He told me how people suspects him of being an Ogboni member and we laughed. In fact, he told me everything. He said, in pidgin English, "See, this life wey you see so is all about plan — if you don't plan, you plan to fail."
He talked about why school is important and how bad people wanted to remove him from work when they resumed, but when the manager saw his new CV with distinction, the plans of the evil ones failed.
He got the contract staff work with his BSc. And while working, he was saving and at the same time enrolled for his masters even though the money wasn't sufficient to cater for all his personal projects in life.
After all the struggles, he had distinction unlike the 2.1 he had during his undergraduate days. So, when they reviewed his new CV and saw distinction, they conducted a new interview and he passed and was instantly upgraded with a private driver for official duties.
The young uncle is single and smiling to the bank every month end through the fruit of his CV.
Oh, by the way, he sent me some Christmas money — he thought I'm probably jobless, but doesn't know "guy men" don't need job again. Buhari don make us wise.
Gradually, he moved over to what I'm currently doing now and I told him about Amazon KDP, but the didn't know much about it, but said, "Is it like Jumia?" And I said yes, but advanced Jumia. I told him lots of great things about the business and he was shocked, but later changed the topic and started taking about going back to school.
"I want you to look for admission, whether in Nigeria or abroad," he said, but deep inside me, I wasn't happy.
"I want you to get your masters next year, 2020, and before you know it, you'll also get your Ph.D and keep them as backups. You can do it along side your online businesses. You never know when something big will happen, so it's good to be prepared," he said.
He talked and talked, but I was bored about all these school talks even though I enjoyed the other parts of the conversation.
So, just to please him, I want to get an admission is an school and I can sort my way to the top. I no wan attend class. To even search for admission online dey boring to me let a lone staying in one stupid class learning rubbish sake of say I want more degree.
I know I can sponsor myself if I want to, but since there is someone who wants to do the spending with "oil money" wetin man go do? I go just humble this time around and pretend as if I like school and see where it leads.
So, I have 3 countries in mind
1. Canada 2. USA 3. China
I chose these 3 countries for business reasons. For Canada, it's cheap car importation. For USA, it's for online business reasons and not going through all the restrictions I face here in Nigeria with our Naija IP. For China, it's electronics importation.
Those are the only countries I have in mind.
For Nigeria, I need the most corrupt school where I sort my way to the top since I'm lazy to read academic books.
So, if you read this far, kindly help me out make I no miss this opportunity this time around. Left with me, I'll miss it because of my laziness in anything regarding school.
PLEASE, HELP.
Please, no agent should scam me o! I no get money o! Can you do your online publishing work in USA and Canada? If yes, choose Canada. Seems Canadian cars are a deal these days. I hope you wont face restrictions and difficulty in China with yiur jobs. I advise you choose a country where you can continue your online job |
