So corpers should start planning going to war?

What stopped you from going to war also? You must have probably gone through same training if you were a graduate

You can't manage to use Corolla with those issues he highlighted grin

Felicity001:
Did you buy the car tok? Or 9ja used? Or Tok but have been used privately?

Which of thses?

If 9ja used probably the former owner saw all of these problems coming so he quickly sold out to you and you now inherited them.

If tok, all of those issues have been underlay since waiting for the right time to manifest.

This is the reason I'll always pick the corolla b4 any other car for ehailing because it can sustain injury and still work "managory".

As a matter of fact, camry (big daddy) for ehailing should be rated among the worst cars to use on ehailing but only a few veterans know this facts. The civic 06-08 model is far ahead of the biggy self let alone the 03-05 model.

The only thing good about the car is its space,( good for family picnic because it can carry lots of things). but apart from that? No wonder call it big4nothung.

Yeye cargrin

Sometimes here, someone said route compensation is used to compensate drivers when the PU is kinda far; usually most times when even PU distance could be farther than destination and the trip might have even be probably rejected by most drivers.

I'm not too sure if I got it right.

SokizzRaven:
So this morning, I took a trip all the way to awoyaya (it’s a very low demand area), it was a destination trip. I needed to see a client around that side and luckily I got a trip to the exact area, that’s not the reason for sharing this though.

On my return I decided to on my app, just maybe I could get lucky with a request towards Ajah. Few minutes later, Voila! An order came in ( heading to Lakowe golf road). What’s shocking was this order was on a surge multiplier ( for this kind area?) my eyes popped shocked

Looking in closely I discovered it’s not the usual type of surge. It was labeled ‘Route compensation’. It’s the first time I’m seeing such kind of surge.

I already have a random idea of what that kind of surge could be all about, but it will nice to hear the takes of senior comrades on this
Let we the newbies learn!

No, I don't even think their loan defaultment affects credit rating. A lot of people who have defaulted these loan apps got covid19 loan which normally bank loan defaulters wouldn't have
Crime › Re: Loan App Wants To Ruin My Career by peeps4u: 1:57am On Jun 02, 2021
Why are you sounding scared already if you didn't receive anyomey from them?

Send a mail to them as advised, attaching your acct statement for the said period, then add subtle threat to the mail that you wouldn't take it lightly with them and press for defamation should they go ahead and defame you when you really didn't receive any money from them.

Further add that you've used them in the past and didn't fail to remit your loan.

Take the fight to them before they give you first attack

Dproperties:
I am just concerned, their App uses GPS system which simply means they know my house because I have applied three times from home. Them having my bank statements simply means the can analyse where I used to use my card POS or Atm...
And knowing my full financial status might leads to a problem seeing by how fast they want to send messages to my contacts and how they lack manners.

Ouch! I got myself into it cry

Where is the insult plz? Who insulted you?

It was even OP, teachlead that started the war of words and insults/curses here.

As for making jest of you about the grant, you can't stop people from doing, you can as well mock and taunt them with your grants. That's your best weapon and come back.

Put the mockers to shame with your grant.
restored2016:
We don't need to insult people for their beliefs and risk... You don't believe in the grant that's fine, don't impose your unbelief on others by making jest of there belief it's a sign of immaturity! You have made you point clear that's your opinion and we thank you for that but allow us to make our decision and when we decide to stick by the grant Because of information available to us from trusted sources you don't have to come here to insult us. The insult is enough, is our names, our data and if they ask us to pay it's still our money and if it comes it's our profit, if it doesn't come it's our loss and not yours, please learn to acknowledge it. Thanks.

Pearl1910 has done justice to your question but let me also add that, in this work, nothing is black and white. You will just have to apply discretion.

Say I'm on a trip and the rider wants to make a stop and I know that should I refuse and end the trip, I'll find it difficult to get another. I'll simply allow them make the stop and tell them not to take time.

Yesterday I waited for a rider at PU for about 17 minutes. This was unlike me but the destination made sense and I already saw three other drivers in a street not up to 1km. And the funny thing? In that 17 minutes I waited, none of them got a request.

What were my chances of getting a better trip if I cancelled that one because the rider took much time? These are things experience teaches you. You know when to make stops, when to refuse stops, what trips to take, the ones to cancel, e.t.c
How did you know those guys were drivers? Corolla? grin

An interesting read following the recent discussion on the thread about an online database for vehicle replacement parts. I might as well weigh in my thoughts:

1. I noticed no one spoke from the point of view of the customer! Which I found amazing. It doesn't matter how cool or dope a product is, if the customers can't access it, you are just wasting your time. For example, for the database in question, the customers are repair shops and automotive engineers; not car owners. How many of these automotive engineers are savvy enough to use a sophisticated database as proposed? Maybe 2%. Of these 2%, how many will actually be convinced enough to use? An example; I happen to know Gazzuzz is a very hands-on Automotive Engineer. He loves combing through Ladipo warehouses as he searches for tokunbo replacement parts for his clients. I can bet #20,000 that he would have it no other way - database or not. Same for DMechyy.

2. Also, do you guys think an Igbo man in Ladipo will open up his warehouse so you can catalog his inventory? Like who does that? Inventory is a competitive advantage, and no Igbo man will ever ever open up his warehouse for you to now start counting and labeling his goods for him.

My thoughts; apologies for my lengthy post.

Sports › Re: Tennis: Osaka Fined $15000, Faces "Expulsion" For Not Granting Media Interviews by peeps4u: 10:23pm On May 30, 2021
You have mental summmersault. You're all over the thread asking "is everything about money" to justify her shunning the interview. If truly it isn't about money, why can't she pull out of the event so she can have her mental health taken care of and still miss out of the money she would have got from the event but she wanted to get the money and shy from her contractual duty.

You're a dubious person.

You're ignorant. It is a contractual agreement and you're still asking is it by force? If she doesn't get paid her due money under contract, can you also say is it by force that she should be paid?

Do you know how much these people earn? You expect them to still choose which part of the contractual agreement to follow or not while receiving such money which are made possible by various brands she's trying to rob by shunning interviews. So many brands are displayed during these interviews. It is about money here, for the brands, for the media and also Osaka.

If she can't stand the heat of interviews, she should quit the sport and look for another sport where she can choose to grant interviews or not.

PeaceJoyLove:
Laws are meant to be challenged. Rules are meant to be enforced to change for better. And contracts can be rules out when it is damaging people. Humanity compassion and goodwill always win at the end of the day because it is the right thing to do. Maybe you should ask FIFA why life contracts were banned when African desperate and illiterate players were lured into it. Go and ask what happened to Taribo West and Phillip Osondu. At last FIFA stopped it. The issue is that the clause is mandatory meaning they are forced to do it.

Is it by force to give interview? Na by force? And if you think it is where you make money, then, remove media hostility which is having negative issue on players. Imagine one guy saying bodly Serena William has walked out crying after interviews. And it is normal to the guy. Are you guys OK?

Okada ban in Lagos this time is going to be serious, it seems. It is necessary for security and to check the invaders. Commissioner of police said it last month that they retrieved about 300-400 guns (can't remember the actual number) from arrested Okada riders in this year alone. That tells something.
