Chiamaka01: It does, for all courses, but, there are so many factors involved. They are: the strength of your connection, your aggregate et al. If your aggregate is too low compared to the cutoff for a very competitive course, say medicine, you may have to look for another course.

okay nice. Why i got confused is: if oau gives, lets say 50 slots for pharmacy and the cutoff is 250, it means that just 50 students scored 250 and above. Now would there be space to slot in the 'connected candidates'?

This connection thing is not so clear to me. Does it work for the less competitive courses only or with the competitive ones too?

yeah man. So we just have to wait. But i feel the 'one choice institution' scheme of jamb should have an impact in the cutoff mark.

While i agree that dia are some non-chalant egocentric and arrogant doctors. (met alot of dese)... there are also those who deserve more than Nigeria cld ever pay them... they are d unsung heroes(also met dese; quite few i might add)...

Finally, Nigeria is not broke... All things being equal, every sector can be properly catered for, its just that some select individuals have made it their God given right to squander her resources.... sadly, the thought of every Average Nigerian is how to take part in such squandering...**smh**

We can create d Nigeria we want by changing our attitude and mindset... Not by bashing any striking group be it ASUU, NMA, JOHESU... etc
