I am not a web developer, i deal with windows and android apps only
also why do we need to clone, why cant we just come up with our own unique original design, we cant grow by trying to be something else we are not

We need someone good in UI(css3, html5, JavaScript/Jquery), and some one good in UX(Provide quality images, beautiful responsive layouts, icons, provide cool color combo, fonts ) = 2 frontend guys.


we need backend guys too, (PHP Strictly OOP)

Suggestions are highly welcome, like what framework to use maybe dhtml.extreme framework etc

This project is expected to span for at most three weeks.

PS, we would need a host with ssh access.

i think b4 we start, lets have the team complete here with everyone's commitment and they knowing their responsibilities, and then we start brainstorming and planning here, also we need to appoint a reliable person as the team head

guys, federal uni like unilorun no be beans ooh. i remember 4yrs ago when i wrote my post ume for unaab which is also a federal uni(but not as sought after like unilorun), 22,000 people wrote that post ume, but they picked not up to 1,500 people, now from my rough estimation, not less than 40,000 people will write unilorin post ume.
my best advice to u is dat, the secret behind post ume is that questions are majorly jamb past questions, if i were u, i would start preparing right now.
the only thing that has been helping me academically is "preparation", i make sure none of my peers prepare more than me, i make sure dere is nothing nobody else knows that i dont know, even that helped me in the place where i am currently doing my IT, out of 1,200 people, i was priviledged to be among the less than 20 people that were chosen cos i made sure i prepared more than anybody else, and PUT GOD FIRST.

i am very interested, i think i will take care of buying the domain name and hosting.

what i would want to celebrate the 100th post is for the "mod to do the needful by bringing this to front page", so that those who are not programming oriented, but have a lot of ideas can make it come to pass.

i guess u are trying to create this, concerning ur question, put up a good team in which everybody is an asset, brainstorm on how u can make the app unique.

i dnt trust naija developers, u can look for a developer to work with on freelance

for ur info, u cant force people to abandon whatsapp, u can only make people use ur app by the amount of value they are getting from it.

it depends on what it offers and its features, how unique it is, people wont just start using it cos it uses 3bytes only, but what they get from it by using it. u dnt expect people to abandon whatsapp for it

i dnt think it is possible, even if it is, it means the webpage wont have pictures or so
