If SE chose to leave overwhelmingly, why should we care about the intentions of their current Biafra agitators? We cannot pretend as if SW or The North love Igbo so much or that the SE love other regions so much.

Part of Cameroon used to be part of Nigeria. The chose to join Cameroon in a referendum and I believe they are happy there.

We were all different people before 1914. And we're still very different people.

So the democratic thing to do is call a referendum. Even the UK that forced us together called a referendum of Scottish independence despite UK been all white, Christian, speak one language and very similar culture now.

I like unity, but unity that is not working only serves the interest of the elite.

I'd prefer smaller countries where things work: jobs, peace, good education, healthcare, human rights respected, etc. If you put a bus at Oshodi and ask those willing to relocate to Luxemburg, Liechtenstein, Andorra or Monaco to enter the bus, there'd be a stampede that may lead to loss of lives.

So will be the burning desire to escape 9ja poverty, despite the large population, landmass, resources, etc. Yet the above countries are mini-states, none above 500k people.
