Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to his Instagram page to share photo of the terrible motor accident he survived miraculously yesterday.

Yesterday I miraculously survived this terrible accident.
All I can say is 'thank you Lord, thank you Jesus, thank you Jehovah, God is real and God is alive.
Thank you blessed mother Mary.

I left Lagos yesterday heading to the east, just before I got to Ore doing 100-120km, my car lost control and started veering off to the right. I tried to steer it back on track and the next thing I knew I was upside down tumbling till the car finally ended up in a gutter.
Miraculously I came out alive with few cuts and bruises.
I thank the Almighty God for his mercies, I thank our blessed mother Mary, and to all the Angels sent by God to protect me always, thank you.
I also thank all my fans and friends all over the world who always pray for me and wish me well.
God is alive.
Life can end in a second. The money, the cars, the mansions, the fame, the good life, all vanity.
Be close to God.
God is everything!

OAP, Kofi Bartel, has recounted his ordeal in the hands of SARS officers in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, yesterday Tuesday, June 4th.

Posting via his Facebook page, Kofi stated that he was allegedly attacked and threatened to be killed for speaking against SARS operations during his programme on Radio. Recounting what led to the attack, Kofi wrote;

Yesterday, I was driving in my area and saw SARS officers beating up a boy who lives in the area. His mum fries Akara for a living and I knew immediately that they wouldn't be able to 'settle' the officers. He kept shouting "what have I done", while they tried to force him into their bus. They were beating the hell out of him and don't know if he would have survived. I made to go plead with them but at a point hesitated and chose to take a shot of the bus and numberplate.

I was given the beating of my life right on the road. They started by smashing my knees repeatedly with wooden bars. As I type this, my left knee is swollen and my right knee seriously bruised. I have pains on my head, neck and back.

I was handcuffed like a common criminal and shots were fired to disperse a small crowd that had gathered. After a second round of beating, I was taken to SARS HQ in Port Harcourt where I was beaten more mercilessly by the SARS officers who took me there. About three others also joined in. They are took turns to slap, punch, kick me all over my body in a detention room, while I was struggling with a swollen knee. At least 6 officers, one at a time. One swore he would have "wasted" me if his team were the one who picked me up. I was told to get ready to be thrown into their cell where I would receive the worst torture, including sexual abuse by male inmates.

A couple of them told me to watch my back, saying this is my end in Rivers State, due to the human rights issues we treat on radio involving SARS and the police generally.

My phones were seized and I had no way of communicating with anyone. I was saved at the last minute when word got to their former boss and they were ordered to release me unconditionally.
The pains were unbearable last night and I'll have to go for a skull and knee Xray today.

Several times, I've had to use my media platform to shout on behalf of the voiceless in our society who have had their rights trampled upon by people meant to protect them. I got my own first hand experience yesterday. Some of the officers made me know how they felt about that.... literally.

So my crimes are;
1. Attempting to do something about the boy who was being beaten.

2. Taking up SARS and police issues on radio.

I'm taking their threats to my life seriously and will be putting authorities on notice. But please be aware, if anything happens to me or my family and friends, you know who to suspect.

Senator Dino Melaye is reported to have been moved from the Police Clinic in Area 1, Garki, Abuja to one of the medical facilities of DSS.

Melaye had been arrested in connection with the shooting of a police officer in Kogi state in July.

He surrendered to the police after a week of being held up in his house in Abuja.

Over the weekend, son of the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II, Aminu Sanusi III, got married to his lover, Zainab Ali Bashir. The wedding Fatiha took place in Al-Furqan Mosque, Alu Avenue, Nassarawa GRA Kano.

Prince Sanusi is an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and the bride is the daughter of Dr Sani Ali Bashir.

Guests at the wedding included Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote, Billionaire businesswoamn, Bola Shagaya and many others.

Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite has just shared her biggest testimony of 2018 and how God gave her a massive army to fight her battle.

According to her, 'I was fighting a serious battle for over a year. A battle I knew I could never ever have won by power nor by might. So instead, I decided to pray HARD about it. Oh dear, I disturbed God on this matter. I would sing, dance, cry, praise,worship; day and night'.

A whole year passed and nothing happened. But I refused to give up. On the 17th of May (a day before my birthday), I went to a mid week service. I dragged myself to church that day. I was overwhelmed. I had no strength left in me. My head kept telling me to give up, but my heart and spirit said NO.

There was an altar call in church that day for people who desperately needed God to show up for them. I joined about a hundred other people. I tried to control my emotions. A few tears escaped and I would quickly wipe them away but at some point, I let go. I showed my father, how much pain I was in. For those few minutes, I couldn’t care less which blogger, friend or foe was watching. Damilola Adegbite?! Crying like a baby in church? Me I was ready for the jist to be everywhere by the next day, but I was even more ready to risk it all for a breakthrough. Little did I know, that my day had come.

After the prayers, we got up. My face was a mess so I bent my head and was walking back to my seat. I had taken a few steps when someone touched my shoulder so gently. I turned around and it was my pastor’s wife. Prior to this, I had NEVER met her. She looked at me so kindly and pulled me into her arms, right there in front of the whole church. That was it, I burst into tears like a baby. Before I could even figure out what was happening, I was taken into the pastor’s office and asked to wait to see my pastor and his wife after service. Small me!! To cut the long story short, hmmm, words can never explain. God gave me a MASSIVE ARMY. Spiritual, financial, emotional, every arsenal that I could ever need to fight and win this battle.

Here’s to you my friend. Keep pushing! Don’t loose hope! Refuse to be intimidated! If your hopes and dreams didn’t manifest in 2018, DO NOT GIVE UP! Your time is almost here. Keep holding on.

The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, has warned Nigerian youths, especially yahoo boys stealing pants for money rituals to desist from the act or face the consequences

Oba Ewuare gave the warning on Sunday during a thanksgiving service at the Holy Aruosa Cathedral in Benin to round off the 2018 annual Igue Festival Celebrations, Vanguard reports.

He said youths who cling to the illusion that they could become wealthy by killing people or stealing female underwear for ritual purposes, would no doubt face the consequence.

He added that the behaviour was abominable and alien to Benin customs and tradition.

The monarch interceded for Nigeria and her leaders and urged politicians and youths to shun acts that could undermine free, fair and credible elections in 2019.
The Oba also warned politicians to desist from violence and other acts inimical to the electoral process.

He cautioned youths not to allow themselves to be used as political thugs to cause mayhem during elections.

The Oba was accompanied by his wives to the church service which was conducted in Edo language.
