My c230 2004 radiator fan suddenly start turning on full speed when i turn on my ignition b4 even cranking the car

When the fault started it was fluctuation of fan soeed it will go high come back low within a min

Buh now on ignition sef its going full speed


Who know the cause.??

Ur acceleration will feel dull when u are driving then u slow down and try to speed up again

Until u kickdown b4 it clear up and continue normal

That time they were telling me say na my worn engine mount cause am

I noticed some misfiring with the car, and the rpm is really low when idle. Apart from this, the vehicle moves smoothly especially when on speed. It’s only from being stationary, or when moving on low speeds that there’s a delay in acceleration. I don’t know if this make sense.

So I took it to radautoworks this morning. The diagnosis was intake camshaft sprocket, exhaust camshaft sprocket and timing chain. But the pricing they gave me is even more than the cost of an engine. I don’t see how I would spend N6m for these parts.

Change ur crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensor

So I scanned it and some codes came up. I just need a Benz technician that can diagnose what’s wrong without trial and error.

The codes:

Code 1337
P0597
P0016
P0017
P0056 &P0036

It’s a 2011 ML350

1. P1337
• Usually related to crankshaft or camshaft correlation issues, or misfire detection. On some Benz models, it can also indicate ignition system problems.

2. P0597
• Fan Control Circuit “A” High
• Means the engine cooling fan is getting too much voltage or there’s a short in the fan control circuit. Could cause overheating if ignored.

3. P0016
• Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation
• The crank and cam sensors aren’t syncing properly. Could be timing chain/belt issues, faulty sensors, or connector problems.

4. P0017
• Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 2)
• Same as P0016 but on the second bank of the engine (V6/V8). Usually appears with P0016.

5. P0056
• O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 2) High
• Indicates a problem with the oxygen sensor heater or wiring. Can cause poor fuel economy and emissions issues.

Replace your gear selector

Thats d culprit. 50k

Or get it repaired for 15k but it will still reoccur after a year

Good day gurus in the house, pls I have this issue with my w202. There's alot of fuel in the tank as its even in half tank, the fuel pump is okay, filter is okay and even a new one, fuel guage is okay, fuelling system is very much okay but the tank seems to be retaining the fuel and not dispensing to the filter. If I top up a little it may start and move just a small distance and go off again still retaining fuel inside the tank. Engineers pls come to my aid, this issue is draining me.

Nah your fuel tank ooo it can be fixed talk to your mechanic or rewire

Na 2 half ur fuel tank be so fuel dey run stay for the 2nd part (full tank to half) instead of staying in first part (reserve to just b4 half tank)

They changed some stuff in it that makes the car not recognize d gear lever i switch to….

Lol if u want repairs it may not take long b4 it goes bad anyhow sha. I don face am too i have replaced alternator, battery but na u go still enjoy am

gear selector fixed

It wasnt alternator issue it was EIS
Electronic ignition switch
Was fixed normal


The gear issue was that even after changing position it still stays in P or R on the instrument cluster its not recognizing moving the gear lever


Now works fine

I got mine from a scrap yard off w203. It uses same with w211. Got it 55k

.. here they said 45k

And they also offer rebuilding mine for 15k-20k

And just like that alternator stop charging my battery

This happened on my 05 w211, i can surely and guarantee you it’s 99% gear selector that needs to be changed, it’s not electrical at all. Just change the gear selector and use scanner to remove it from limp mode when changed. No let anyone tell u anything else

very reliable with bullet proof engine. Don't change your transmission fluid with anything other than original Honda ATF DW1 as the transmission is sensitive.
Next is to be weary of the shaft, always replace with original parts when it is worn out china brand new alwats collapse in limited space of time.

Apart from that, other known issues are very minor and are caused by wear and tear and the normal condition of our roads
