Thank you for your contribution. Actually we’ve gone to inspect the car and found out that some of features that made him opt for the accord are not in the Nigerian used one. It’s like the features were exclusive to the American market and removed from the West African market, like the lane watch, memory seats, parking sensors, lumbar support, etc. He has also checked the history of the tokumbo and the car was well maintained with just 60k miles on it (actual odometer reading from the vin). So he’s currently in the process of negotiating with the dealer for the car. Thanks.

Expert in the house i need your input for car recommendation for first time car owner, budget is between 1.5 - 1.8 main preference is cheap maintenance and fuel efficiency, needed for city driving of my kids to school 20 mins a day and 2 to 3 times 1hr+ journey a year, i have been checking here and jiji i am seeing some peogeut 206, almera tino and honda civic but really not sure what the best choice is, i am not limited to this 3 but those are the ones that i have been seeing within my budget. Hello guys, please I need your suggestions. My friend is about buying a car, 2017 Honda Accord to be exact. He has the option of choosing between a tokunbo car and a Nigerian used that was bought brand new in 2021 from Honda dealership in Lagos. The person that owns the Nigerian used car is selling because he is relocating from the country. The tokunbo is expensive because of the import duties and all but he really doesn’t mind. He just wants to know which will be better. The Nigerian used is tokunbo standard clean from the pictures but his worry is that he believes that even though they’re both Honda cars, he feels that the one produced for the American market will be more durable and reliable than the ones sent to the West African markets. Could this be true? Should he go for the Nigerian used since it is significantly cheaper than the tokunbo?

It's best to get the last models in the generation, as that's when they perfect the issues with the earlier models in the generation.
Like for the 7th gen,
The face lifted 2006 and 2007 models (DC) have less issues compared to the 2003-2005 models (EOD)
As with the 8th gen,
The face lifted 2011 and 2012 models have less issues compared to the 2008-2010 models
I'll pick the 07 accord over the 08, if I were looking for the "most reliable"
But overall the 2008/2009 accord is still a reliable car and easy to maintain.
If you can't get new OEM balljoints you can go for tokunbo ones.
Just avoid the cheap Chinese ones when it comes to ball joints.
Maintenance is okay, it's a honda.
Some Parts are a bit pricey sha sha, but nothing too expensive.

Just saw the first 3 episodes of WOT second season. It isn't that bad na in my opinion, took awhile to remember what the story was about again. I really enjoyed it.

Hey, calm down. I don't know why you all have a problem with this guy. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You can make your case without insulting others. The show wasn't that bad. It's a flashback on the lives of some teenage girls whose flight crashed in a forest in the middle of nowhere. It shows their survival, their descent into cannibalism, and how it's affecting them in the present.

This is one thing this series teaches me because if you are the type that gets an adrenaline rush in series that tends to show instant action or vawulence then you will never enjoy this series or be able to finish it because First of all, it's a total slow burner but in the end the series is a masterpiece.

The ending of the series will confuse you to the extent that you realize that you had no clue what has been going on since episode 1 and then you will have no choice than to continue from season 2.

And by the way, America is a forked up country, if you think there is demons and devils in Africa, wait till you get to America and then you will begin to realize that the demons in Africa are low class demons, bottom of the barrel demons but the demons in America are the real fallen angels from heaven.

Anyways some deaths in the series actually broke my heart though, they were so emotional i had a tear in my eyes but it is what it is.

I am going to download season 2 tonight.

Omo, I watched Breaking bad years ago and I absolutely enjoyed it. Years later after graduating as a Chemistry major, I had to re-watch the series and guess what, it was still captivating. Maybe cos of my course of study. 😂😂
