Politics / James Useghan’s Foray Into Politics by perekebena(m): 5:18pm On Nov 26, 2018
James Useghan’s foray into politics

Every individual has the right to contest and be voted for
any given election in the country. In the past, young Nigerians have shied away from this responsibility, leaving it in the hands of the elderly people, who have refused to leave the stage for the younger generation.

In Nigeria, there is an individual, who has been in almost all
the past governments over the years and currently, he is a
serving minister with the Buhari-led administration.

In developed countries, young people are in position of
authority in their various countries they are: Emmanuel Macron (39 years), President of France, 2. Saleh Ali al-Sammad (38 years), President of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, Emil Dimitriev (38), Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck (37 years), Druk Gyapol (King of Bhutan), Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani (36 years), Emir of Qatar, Vaness D’Ambrosio (29 years), Captain Regent of San Marino. One begins to wonder why Nigeria and other African countries have leaders who are in their 70s or 80s as presidents.

After spending your hard-earned money to purchase an expensive smartphone, sometimes you might lose it as a result of theft or other occurrences. But it is important for you to be prepared if such happens. And that is where Cellphone Tracking Apps on Android OS comes in.

Whether you are using a phone or a tablet, you should try and install one of these tracking Apps. Google allows you to track lost phone with Android Device Manager. There are a lot of these Apps on the Google Play store and they provide you with different features for tracking and wiping your phone if it gets lost.

These cell phone tracking apps include free and paid apps with nice features. If you have one of these apps on your device, you can locate your device on the map after logging into your account on any computer. Another good thing about these Cellphone tracking apps is that they provide you with the last call detail, recorded voice, and photos of the thief from lost device’s camera to a remote location number or your account that will help to track device real-time.

Let us look at some of these Apps, but note, these mobile tracking apps might be paid or free. They definitely have premium features that offer remote data retrieval to help you retrieve call logs, text messages, and other personal data from the phone.

Android Device Manager

The first tracking App on my list is the Android Device Manager a security feature that helps you locate, and if needed, remotely lock or wipe your Android device if you happen to lose it or it gets stolen. Device Manager works to protect your Android device. All you need to do is connect the device with your Google account, and all these features will be available to you.

Science/Technology / Tech Easter: Nokia Coming Back To Life by perekebena(m): 8:48am On May 21, 2016
It seems it is Easter in the tech world as dead brands are coming back to life. Dethroned monarchs like Nokia and Motorolla poised for a place in the tech underworld have patched their sinking Titanic as they aim for a glorious place back up in the palace. Refusing to let sleeping dogs lie and noiselessly slip down in the tech abyss, these two former phonegiants have taken smelted new swords, barking as they push for recovery of lost lands.

And now Nokia has returned! The erstwhile phone king has made official announcements of its intention to make a comeback in the world of phones, tablets and smartphones. And certainly, your wish is Nokia’s command as the upcoming devices will be Android smartphones and tablets!

This push will come in convoy of the formation of a new company named HMD global Oy, a company just recently founded with their base in Finland that will be supervised by Arto Nummela as CEO, who had served formerly in the capacity of a senior Nokia exec and as of now manages a large part of Microsoft’s phone divisions.

Nokia will therefore assume position in the board of directors of HMD setting the pace for performance as much as brand demands so “that all Nokia-branded products exemplify consumer expectations of Nokia devices, including quality, design and consumer-focused innovation.”

HMD will unleash the magnanimous bunch of $500 million into global marketing in course of the following three years with the purpose of restoring the aroma of the Nokia name;of course this was becoming an offensive odour of late .

There happens to be another company named FIH Mobile Limited, this is a subsidiary of Foxconn. In the second half of the year, it made the acquisition of the rights to Nokia feature phones from Microsoft for $350 million. It also embarked on the acquisition of Microsoft Mobile Vietnam, which along with its 4,500 employees shouldered the responsibility of producing the Nokia-branded feature phones.

Nokia come to a formal consensus with FIH even signing an agreement “to establish a collaboration framework to support the building of a global business for Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablet.”

As Nokia’s announcement puts it “there is still much work for HMD to do, so you’ll need to wait a bit longer to see what the next wave of Nokia phones and tablets look like.”
