Participating in testnet airdrops can also be very rewarding too. Especially when the project goes Mainnet. They usually reward the testers.

There's currently a tester airdrop by polar on the rinkeby network in metamask. You'll be given 3 ETH (testnet of course) to use in participating.

I shared it in my WhatsApp group sha. Don't know how to post here for fear of ban

I am a born hustler (legit) that don't believe in employment. I prefer the rough road to wealth and freedom than the smooth path to relative poverty.

Though there is nothing wrong with being an employee, only few employees understand that no their lifespan within employment is relatively short. These wise employees don't just lavish their salaries on frivolity thinking that they have arrived, they invest in themselves, properties and even businesses.

But in Nigeria where take home pay doesn't really take one home, it is challenging for an employee to invest part of their salaries due to its relative meagre nature.

All being said, life of a hustler (self employed) may be rough for a few years but is highly rewarding if the hustler is focused, visionary and committed to his hustle without letting distraction set in.

Once upon a time, moi had 50 cake that I bought for 0.35

FUD made me sell when some people came to say CAKE would reduce to 0.01

Today CAKE is over 25$ and would likely touch $100 one day

I lost my chance of reaching that height because one random guy said CAKE wasn't going anywhere

They will spread it...

People would be shaken off...

The few who remains would hold on to their coin and make it costly

HODL

You will make more money with $5 than someone buying and selling daily

I don't drop signals and I aren't tying rope round your neck to inbox me and those who did will be served. So be guided. I don't do signal things. I drop bockchain based projects from private and pre-sales. I only drop openly projects already listed on binance which still have strong fundamentals and will still do massive roi for long term hodlers. I dropped egld and another I know and sure of is Matic.

Who cares about the eye you are watching with. I am an engineer and entrepreneur in agroprocessed commodities and I also find value in block chain technology and have heavily invested in it. I only came here to see if I can get referrals for one of the solid projects that is still at private sale at $0.024/share and while the project will yield for those I recommend it for, it will also yield returns for me. And for those who press me further, I can then share other private sales project to. Do you think I have time to be looking for folks to come and invest? When last did you see me on Nairaland canvassing. I know the returns my assets are yielding. Let me just tell you one so you know I don't have your time. I invested in gny last year November having a 5 year view in mind based on the fundamentals. Even after 2 months, it did 40X...and even now the support remains at 20X and I am still holding because the project sef never start. So what you don't know you don't know. Stop ranting around. Solid private placements can't be released on Nairaland bro. I rest my case on your case

It is well with you. Where is your evidence that I am a scammer. I can see that scamming experiences had turned you into seeing everyone else as a scammer. Digital assets which I do invest into are majorly private placements which are not the free calls and signals you see around daily. I paid to get them at private sales before they are listed and by then most already do 200% at least. So such things can't just be released publicly don't you get? And you claim you are smart...scam identifier...lol. Let's come to shares in companies. When zoom listed private sales in 2015 at $0.33, did you see it anywhere on Nairaland or any public domain. Now you can check Zoom's value today and see the price for yourself. When Indomie did private placement in 2007. I don't even know if you were done with secondary school then. Its a pity. Go to coingecko and check details of yfi. When it listed publicly and even its all time low was still even like a 3X of private placements already. Meaning when it was listed at $31/unit people got it at private sale below $10/unit. That's the meaning.

If you continue labelling innocent people wrongly, with no evidence or proof, I bet you, you will soon run into trouble and still that doesn't mean people like you will not be scammed by the real scammers. It is well

Oga! You ain't dropping legit signals but you want them to DM you, what do you call that?

You are showing signs of a scammer. I have been watching but with an eagle Eye on Agric and business section. Be guided

If you reside in Kubwa, Abuja and 20k monthly is not too small for a side hustle in part-time Marketing for a new Confectionery service, then call or WhatsApp 07066676629. The stipend will be reviewed upward after a month if performance is great.

@hannytalker

A recruiter approaches you and asks for your current salary, what do you say?

What is your salary expectation?

You would like to negotiate but don’t know what to say?

Learning to foster conversations about compensation is a vital skill that yields rewards.

Salary negotiation conversations can make or break discussions. But I need you to understand certain things first.

The essence of this thread is not to give you a scripted response but to arm you with the right information to build your confidence during salary negotiations.

The fact that you are been interviewed for a role is because you appear to be a qualified candidate, and they need you.

However, you must understand also that when negotiating salary the company would like to get a good deal for themselves. It's a business, not a charity.

You should look out for yourself through the process.

If they pass because you won’t acquiesce, that’s a red flag.

What is your salary expectation? Very tricky. If you underestimate what they’re willing to pay, you will be leaving money on the table.

If you overestimate

you could disqualify yourself by being “too expensive” for them and they may just move on to other candidates with lower salary expectations.

How then do I strike a balance? If you don't want the interview team to know your salary, so they don't use it as their starting point, you could use a range. Currently, I earn between 50-300k and I will be more comfortable if we settle at 350k as I feel that amount reflects the importance and expectations of the position as well as my qualifications and experience as they relate to this particular position.

They are most likely to propose a figure between your base salary and your expectation. Let's say they offer you 250k but between you and me, your current salary is 100k. You can say ‘If you can do 260k, I’m in!’If they are not willing to shift ground then you can negotiate on benefit. You can say, ‘I understand the best you can do is 250k however if you can offer flexible work time, work from home or sign-on bonus then I am in.

I know some of you have never heard of a sign-on bonus.

It is a lump sum amount you are paid upfront before you start work.

Let me add here that as these conversations get interesting temptation might set in but I advise you not to get greedy.

Another angle.

Having a good amount of information about the market rates, can avoid
discussions centering on opinion or emotion. Of course, situations vary and industry averages are just a guide, but it's generally better to have some external perspective than to approach pay and earnings issues in complete isolation.

It is important always to recognise the difference between the value of the role(If it directly impacts profitability) that you are being interviewed for and your value as an individual. The two are not the same.

You could have a very high potential value, but if your role does not enable you to perform to

your fullest extent then your reward level will be suppressed.

Let me leak a secret.

The best time to negotiate salary is after receiving a job offer, and before you accept it - at the point when the employer clearly wants you for the job, and is keen to have your acceptance of the job offer. Your bargaining power in real terms, and psychologically, is strongest at this point.

We won't be able to complete this thread today as it is a lot but let me leave you with this.

In an event that an employer cannot give you what you asked for but has made a promise to increase your pay subject to completing probation within a time frame let them put it in writing. Ensure they avoid the insertion of 'satisfactory' (describing the period of service) as this can never actually be measured and therefore fails to provide certainty that the raise will be given.

I hope you have learnt something
