Police College Ikeja To Wear New Look As Army Engineers Are Mobilized To Site

Following an independent Television station’s documentary on the parlous state of the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, and the public outcry that greeted the revelation, President Goodluck Jonathan has directed Nigerian Army Engineers to renovate structures within the premier Police institution.
It would be recalled that the documentary led to an unscheduled visit by thePresident to the Police College who decried the state of facilities and living conditions of students of the college.


According to reports, the Presidency had released about N700million directly to the Army Engineers who have since mobilized to site.
Sources at the Army Headquarters, however, said the amount of money released “cannot be said to be the final cost of repairs as the work is being done.”


Whatever, we cannot be taken to a place that is not ready for us! Keep being optimistic...

well, i happen to be passing that route daily, and i think work is currently on progress, but majority of the
renovation going on now is an inside-work. i think there is more to do in the inside than outside(the channel's pics will speak well of that).

The truth is that, we will ever live to appreciate this little delay when we eventually end this episode.

Wow! So many reactions in this DARK turnel. You forget so soon that every tunrnel have a Genesis and a Revelation.

If your FAITH fail now that you have endured for so long, your strenght indeed is weak.

never mind guys. i finally got what i was looking for. i was only trying to write an application that could secure my database. done with that now.

Well, when finally the list will be release, I'm sure many people will be caught unaware. Please don't be deceived,just get urself doing something while you wait.

I'm hundered percent sure the list will soon be out. Lets just be patient with them. Its not a one man thing. I beg of you.

The one I have is not working. I can turn off but turning it on have been my_problem.

Fellow officers, we all know that delay is not denier. Do you think one can deprive you from what is yours?

One advice: stop guessing a date for this names stuff, just be up keeping doing something as if you are not expecting any list.

It will definitely come with a surprise...(I think that's the spirit MJ is trying to adapt, but walking out I quote "is never the_best option"

Nobody is coming there to fill-in the job space if not you and me. Beside, if you know what is at stake in this final list, I think we should gave them the time. A lot of things have to be properly put in place. Starting from the documentation to the infrasture.

All is well.....

as regard the yet shortlisted names, i pray our hopes will never be dashed.
we will all make it to the final list. He had brought us this far and will not abandon us now.
