mmsen: The majority have no clue as to what is happening in the corridors of power, hence why they vote for clowns like George Bush and General 'An Attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North' Buhari.
I had no feelings towards Jonathan but when I saw that he was serious about putting in place measures that would benefit Nigeria in the long run that is when I saw that he is one of the best administrators that Nigeria has had as president. The fact that he was up against Buhari as an opponent helped his cause.
Sadly, you cannot be all things to all men and whilst someone with a grasp of economics and politics is always necessary there are people who seek a man with someone with a military background believing that will resolve the Boko Haram issue, a problem with deep seated and unattended cultural problems. With your response I'm obliged to say Nigeria still has hope, I told a friend who's been jumping and shouting change that "isrealites Quest for change is what they are suffering from till date". Thanks |

mmsen: Politics and nepotism go hand-in-hand because people select who they know and not who is best.
It does not mean that the parents have done well in raising the child - George W. Bush is an example of that, he was an embarrassment to his family as a young man and was disastrous as president. My brother humans aren't perfect, but Bush been an embarrassment to the family and disaster as president he completed his two terms, we that are happy for buhari now, were also happy for GEJ. We will always fail ourselves as humans. We will make d same mistake till....... Mind you, we d masses allow these to happen |

Mannylex: In Nigeria, politics is now family business with influential politicians pushing and imposing their family members on the masses. We've seen this from Tinubu, T.A Orji, Obasanjo, now Ibori.... Next thing we realise, the presidency and Gubernatorial seat would become a birth right for the children of the president or Governor in power. Which way Nigeria??
Have no fear; Mannylex is here My brother try comot for this country you go know say politics is d same everywhere, what about the Bush family in the USA, the Kennedy family and now hillary Clinton after the husband, try make you no dey myopic (no pun intended), what about Saudi Arabia - the Al saud family they many everywhere. It all depends on how fast we open our eyes to see. For another offspring to succeed the parent it show d parent have done well in upbringing. My 2 cent |

Zoharariel: Outlive any European Super car in what sense?
Although I respect Siena's Automotive Prowess but show me any Toyota Product [Not just the Supra] + any Honda Product that can match this baby boo [2010 Bmw E63 M6 Coupe with 5.0Litre V10-500HP] in all ramifications, aside from fuel economy. My word OUTLIVE means it will last longer when it's flogged everyday and not performance alone. |

Whether European cars have good technology, their Japanese counterparts will outlive them pronto. I own a 1999 benz c 200 and I speak with experience. My 1989 Toyota Camry will grow old with me. |

lomomike: The way folks underrate Japanese cars. They think European cars are the Alpha and omega. They've forgotten when a Japanese goes Kamizake no one stands a chance.
The Mazda rx7 was one very respectable driver's car with 267 bhp, the rx8 is another thing entirely, the mitsubishi evo series is a beast in tin milk engine, coming from a microwave manufacturer, the subaru series is another god, not to talk of the lexus LF series, Toyota supra, Honda nsx, civic type R, Nissan GT-R et al. These are cars with little engines (except for some v6, v8, v12) and if Japanese guys go haywire, in their own private garages, they can bump out as much as 1000 bhp from a car. It's so painful NL (cartalk) has made German car seem indestructible whereas they all use Japanese cars. Toyota supra will outlive any European super car. Even Mr Siena has said so in time past. |

I am apologising for my statement of v12 been bulky, but would you buy a v12 benz s600 or BMW 760li for race or its luxury. If I drive the 2000 Toyota supra turbo, I will smoke that BMW 850i, German cars are over rated. Even the Nissan GT-R will smoke it. |

tatosh: LOL. I thought they said Buhari is a religious bigot and an Islamist? Does this mean he's no more any of these and now a supporter of gayism and westernization?
Can PDP please stop this joke already. Anybody with a sound mind can read through the lines and see that they are just cooking up baseless stories against the General, on the contrary it seems they almost admire the man.
Fellow Nigerians, Good governance is not rocket science like GEJ & PDP make it look. It only takes someone who has a social conscience to be the leader and we will see CHANGES.
Vote right Vote APC The highest numbers of gays in this country are from the Northern part. And what are they Christians or what. |

Because of nairaland I bought the benz I had wanted an audi thinking I will also get help from Mr siena but realised quickly that he's a busy man and would rarely be available for my kind of questions hence opted for a benz, yet my Toyota drives 6 months no issues unlike my benz I rarely drive but when I do its one thing to the other. |
