I have done that on a 1991 camry- with 3S-FE engine long ago. reason was incompetent mechanic, injector was a nightmare to many mechanics and electricians as at that time. However, I reverted to the injector , after reading many advantages of the injector over carburetor.

the experience was less power on the carburetor , I tweaked the carburetor as much as I could to manually balance air and fuel mixture, but could not surpass the economy of a good working injector..

the injector had more torque, when mounted, response time was better, and the fuel economy was excellent whenever the air-mass meter was at its optimal.. (I tweaked that too..lol)

That's my car, but mine is the 1989 model and I still can hit 180km at will the injector is the easiest to work on very less complicated.

If you go market to shop for a car to use for the next 5 years would you choose a volkswagen? And if yes, would you be able to mange it for 5yrs let's be realistic and not follow performance rather reliability. I would buy a benz no doubt but my performance car would still be my tuned 1996 toyota supra anytime anyday

1. You are paranoid
2. You needed a medical cut mental check up
3. Or needed to have started reading the Bible earlier
I won't dismiss your write up 100%, simply because I wasn't there to feel your experience rather just judging by your words here so I would say, you had all the knowledge and resources there with you in the US why then did you come to Nigeria for spiritual help? Lagos children are raised in fear. They are usually locked up in houses with high fence, located inside an estate with multiple gates and security posts. They are made to believe everyone out there is about to hurt them. They attend schools that have no playgrounds and return to lonely homes .


Visit Owerri and see where children have some level of socialization freedom.

My brother I like your analysis so explicit but mind you the Nigerian environment is actually a fearful one plus the fact that Lagos is seriously a multi-lingual cum cultural land hence the average child is well balanced. Some peeps like us are usually the ones who see other people as wicked.

Reasons are :
Nigerians are strong addicts to Japanese cars because of reliability
Newer Peugeot vehicles have electrical issues that are easily fixed but lack d availability of technicians to do it(everyone wants to repair japmobile)
They seem complex for the average joe
Mind you Peugeot can survive in educated people's hand

Lagos it is, my younger brother who is just 20 is sharp that I envy him everyday, I grew up in both edo and delta and my sharpness dey learn for where my little Bro dey. I concede to Lagos hands down, because growing a child has to be all round and not just morals because if it's only morals the child might grow up poor financially. #my2cents
