Journalists covering the All Progressives Congress (APC), have concluded plans to embark on a massive protest against the National Working Committee (NWC), led by Chief John-Odigie Oyegun from next week, over its refusal to pay various advertisements placed in media newspapers. The debts running into over N30 Million, cut across various major national Newspapers covering the party, which include; The Sun, Thisday, Punch, Daily Trust, Blueprint, Guardian, Nation, Vanguard, Leadership, among others. Some of the adverts placed in the Newspapers were said to have taken more than two years without payment by the ruling party. The affected newsmen, who said they are on the verge of losing their jobs as a result of threats from their offices, expressed frustration confronting them as a result of APC debt. http://naijaparrot.com/punch-the-nation-other-newspapers-plan-mass-protest-against-apc-over-n30m-advert-debt/

A political group in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), known as Southern Mandate of Nigeria (SMN) has called on the former Kano state governor and Senator representing Kano Central Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to get ready to contest the presidential race in 2019 general elections. Th e group said that Nigerians were fed up with what is described as “divisive leadership, hence, the fi rm believe that Sen. Kwankwaso can rescue the nation economically and politically,’ adding that ‘it is clear from the body language of Nigerians that there is a strong trust for Kwankwaso to reposition the country. “ In a statement signed in Abuja yesterday by the National Coordinator of the group Comrade Ikonomwan Francis, said Kwankwaso has become a household name in the country backed up by his numerous achievements as a former governor, hence the need to manage the popularity to realise his 2019 presidential ambition. “In view of the turbulent times Nigeria is enmeshed in due to corrupt leadership of PDP and Buharis leadership of a sleeping giant ; life has been almost a hell for Nigerians, we are therefore expectant of a New Leadership that will bring back our smiles as Nigerians. “It is our fi rm believe that Kwankwaso will provide solutions to most of the ills of the present administration, he will put food once again on the table of Nigerians. “Nigerians are hungry and thirsty for a paradigm shift, we want a change. Th erefore, we have fi rm believe that Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s credentials meet our expectations”. https://www.blueprint.ng/2019-apc-group-rules-out-buhari-endorses-kwankwaso/

I think it has been buried Lalasticlala what do you think ![]()

Timi Frank, former deputy spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says the ruling party “is dead” but not “yet buried.” In a statement on Sunday, Frank advised the party members to shun sentiments and rescue APC from its current handlers who he described as “merchants and without minds of their own”. He also accused John Oyegun, national chairman of the APC, and some unnamed party leaders of being responsible for the crisis rocking some state chapters of the party. “APC has shown undemocratic tendencies under the current national working committee led by chief John Oyegun,” the statement read. “APC is dead but not yet buried under the current national chairman.” While commending former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for speaking on the situation of the party, Frank said he was happy that leaders of the party are “now speaking out against the lack of internal democracy.” “I’m happy that some of our leaders are now speaking out against the lack of internal democracy I have been fighting for all this while,” he said. “It is still not too late if others will shun sentiments and see reasons to quickly rescue APC from the current handlers, who are merchants and without minds of their own. “Like I have been saying, Nigerians will now see the excesses of Chief Oyegun led NWC and how the supposed leaders are creating unnecessary crisis by taking sides practically in all state chapters of the federation. “All what chief Oyegun led NWC has been doing were displaying of impunity. “One will be forced to ask if Chief Oyegun has two party constitutions where he uses one for his own favour and the other against his perceived enemies?” https://www.thecable.ng/timi-frank-apc-dead-not-yet-buried

Zombies will still dispute this Lalasticlala |
Nigeria’s former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has said President Muhammadu Buhari’s unguarded utterances was responsible for plunging Nigeria into recession. “I still find it funny that most people don’t know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything. “It’s also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off. “The truth about Nigeria’s recession is this; it was caused by the president’s unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language. “Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren’t buying 5 years ago, therefore it’s not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors. “After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate. “Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into dormiciliary accounts. “That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush. “To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL. In the end, foreign investors took over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall. “To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market. “The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of %2000 profit. Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JPMORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge. “Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians. “For your information, if your president “continues” with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/$1. But we thank God, he is no longer talking.” she said. http://scannewsnigeria.com/featured-post/how-president-buhari-utterances-plunged-nigeria-into-recession-ngozi-okonjo-iweala/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter
