Damn bro... As a kid U never have to "disturb" ur parents about those. It's Christmas. The house will be so lively and bright and all the kids and wives in high spirits, dad will personally take us the younger kids to get our sneakers each year which we will choose and brag about it to the neighbours when we get back. Mom's will take us for clothes shopping, uncles and aunt's will bring surprise gifts, Christmas tree 🌲 is fixed and lit a week to Christmas. We the kids feed the goats and chickens till 24th when they're being prepared so we steal meats and soft drinks on code for private enjoyment as it's the only day we can be out 24 hours shooting bangers and lighting bisco or join the elder kids
binge watching christmas movies. Mom's takes kids to places of interests on D-day. It's just a phase of childhood bro... Just a phase.
