An Ogboni ;Chief Ifadare Afolabi’ and his friend ‘Ifaseun Afolabi’ who are both based in Ikirun, Osun State, in the commission of this crime.

The Ogboni cult chief being a herbalist, have been apprehended for allegedly conspiring and abbetting to murder a 35-year-old ‘Mr. Ayoade Fasesin’, and also using the 35year old man, body parts for ritual purposes.

On his confession and interrogation by the police, He stated that the deceased was a client of his friend ‘Ifaseun’, and had approached him for money rituals.

On his parade by the state Commissioner of Police, ‘Wale Olokode’, in Osogbo on Saturday, He further speaks out shocking and horrific confessions saying; he had used ‘Mr.Ayoade Fasesin’ (the victim’s) head and his both legs for a charm, which was used to draw clients to his temple.

Having him committing this horrific and inhuman act, he also lamented that the charm was ineffective, as it didn’t work as expected.

“It was my first time of doing such a thing. I am an Ogboni chief. I can’t just explain how it happened. It was as if we were attacked spiritually and made to misbehave. I used the head and legs of the deceased for a charm to draw clients to my temple, but it failed. Ifaseun kept other parts and gave them to people who needed them.

Ifadare Afolabi said
“I can’t explain why the charm did not work. I didn’t know the victim before we used him. I have never used any human part before. I just attempted it. I planned the killing with my friend, Ifaseun.”

He also added
Shedding more light about this ungodly acts committed by these two.
The police commissioner said on May 24, that the mother of the deceased called the attention of the police about the sudden disappearance of her son.

This report by the victim’s mother instigated the police detectives from the anti-kidnapping squad to commence an thorough intelligent investigation, which led to the arrest of Ifaseun Afolabi.

Ifaseun Afolabi being a suspect initially denied having any knowledge of the whereabouts of the deceased, but later confirmed that he knew him, and he finally confessed to have conspired with two of his cohorts, Ifadare Afolabi and one Taiwo to kill the victim.

“Another unholy and ungodly confession was that; they had butchered his heart and it to one Adeleke Kabiru at the estimated cost N15,000.

likewise his head, leg and wrist were sold to Adeleke Kabiru, Oloyede Maruf, Oseni Mukaila and Badmus Sairu.

With all these abettors and partners who participated in commission of the act mentioned, It ignites investigators to immediately apprehend those mentioned and succeeded in arresting them, except for Taiwo, who is now on the run.

“Ifadare led detectives to where the victim was killed, butchered and his remaining parts were buried in Fidibom of Ikirun.

His remains were exhumed and taken to the UNIOSUN morgue for autopsy, where the mother of the deceased could identify the last clothes worn by her son.”

Heavy rainfall in some part of the country as been predicted by The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), from Tuesday to Thursday.

According to the agency the development might have effect and impact on flight operations across the country.

They further stated that in next three days to come there would be heavy rainfall across the following region; Southern Kebbi, Western Niger, Northern Katsina, Eastern Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Western Yobe, Gombe, Kaduna, Plateau, Nasarawa, Eastern FCT and Kwara State.

Meanwhile, the agency said there are chances of friendly to harsh rainfall over Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Ekiti, Edo, Kogi, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia, Ondo, Lagos, Delta and Bayelsa State within the period.

However, according to them; light rains are expected over the rest of the country. In the area of where heavy rainfall is predicted, the agency said;

“There are increased chances of flashflood events on roads, settlements, farmlands and bridges which can disrupt vehicular traffic and reduce visibility.”

The agency however advises the public on the change of weather;

“to exercise restraint when going out, keep monitoring the situation, avoid low-lying areas and fast flowing runoff waters.”

Also added;

“Also, there are chances of moderate to heavy rainfall events especially during the first and the third days which can reduce horizontal visibility, increasing the likelihood of cars skidding off the road and chances of car crashes, and likely delays in flight operations. Hence, the public is advised to be prepared for these events to avoid damages from rain-related hazard.”

The Naira collapses more against the dollar at the parallel market on Wednesday after hanging steady on 515 Naira per dollars in previous days.

The Nigerian currency now diminish to 517naria per U.S dollar

According to the Investor’s and Exporter’s window, the Nigeria Naira weakened by 0.06 per cent to close at 411.75/$ on Wednesday. (FMDQ Group)

On August 4 it is said that Nigerian Naira gains value to 506 Naria per dollar, then on July 28 it further falls going to 525 Naria per dollar at the parallel market , This downfall of the Nigerian Naira occurred a day after the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) ceased foreign exchange sales to Bureaux de Change. Since then Dollar had been hovering around 508 per dollar and 510 per dollar in the recent days.

On July 27, at the end of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting, Mr Godwin Emefiele, The CBN Governor, announced the stoppage of forex sale to the Bureaux de Change, stating the reason that; they had turned themselves into ‘agents that facilitate graft and corrupt activities of people who seek illicit fund flow and money laundering in Nigeria’.

He further stated that;

The CBN would channel a significant portion of its weekly allocation currently meant for Bureaux de Change to commercial banks to meet legitimate forex demand for ordinary Nigerians and businesses.

Kayvee is one of the new housemates that were introduced two weeks after the commencement of the show. Kayvee left after he was spotted crying during their morning workout session. After he left, lots of people brought in their reactions on social media as they commend the show host for taking that action and some people also confirmed that there was something about his behaviour in the house. Some of his fellow housemates like WhiteMoney talked about his weird actions in the bathroom. As he seeks further medical attention we wish him all the best medically and also in his career and we hope he will overcome the health challenge.

In a video which the Nollywood actress posted on her Instagram account, she was crying out and asking people to help her before they take her life.

Evan Okoro said that she doesn't feel safe anymore and she is scared of Going to her house. Why he sought Davido for collaboration

Andrew Cornelius, the owner of bishoprex studio has a litany of upcoming artistes In his record label. According to him, ge wanted Tasha to be famous and prominent In the Nigerian music Industry. Therefore, he thought that a collaboration with Davido will make her achieve such level of prominence.

The Contract with Davido

The record label said he was told by Davido’s aide that Davido doesn’t feature In a song except that his music producer (Sperouch) make the beat. Andrew Cornelius claimed that he paid Sperouch #500K for producing the beat.

After the beat was made, Cornelius claimed that one of Davido’s close aide (Tycoon) Informed him that Davido charge millions of Naira before featuring In a song. After bargaining with him, Cornelius claimed that he paid a sum of 2.5million Naira to feature Davido In the song.

The song was then produced In December 2019. It was planned that the video shoot will take place In January 2020. However, Cornelius mentioned that he was asked to pay sum of #5 million Naira again before Davido can feature In the music video. In addition, Cornelius also claimed that he was mandated to use Davido’s music director (Dammy Twitch) before Davido will appear In the location.
