Celebrities / The 27 Club by PEXBlog(f): 8:23pm On Sep 13, 2023
The 27 Club is an informal list consisting mostly of popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27. Although the claim of a "statistical spike" for the death of musicians at that age has been refuted by scientific research, it remains a cultural phenomenon, with many celebrities who die at 27 noted for their high-risk lifestyles.

Beginning with the deaths of several 27-year-old popular musicians between 1969 and 1971 (such as Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison), dying at the age of 27 came to be, and remains, a perennial subject of popular culture, celebrity journalism, and entertainment industry lore. This cultural phenomenon, which came to be known as the "27 Club," attributes special significance to popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27, often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse or violent means such as homicide, suicide, or transportation-related accidents. The cultural phenomenon gave rise to an urban myth that celebrity deaths are more common at 27 years.

Mine emphasis👇
I think there is a mystery behind that age with the numbers of people that have died mysteriously. But the question I keep asking is why 27? Is the universe trying to teach us something to look inward and outward.

However, the following celebrities are the list of people who have died (mysteriously) in the 27s. Though, we have numbers of unreported cases of unknown humans that have died when they were 27.

Brian Jones
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Jim Morrison
Jean-Michel Basquiat
Kurt Cobain
Amy Winehouse
Mohbad
And other unsung heroes...

The Seminary school I went to should really be emulated in every aspect.

Before resumption, your names have already been pasted in every parts of the school and you can never change that position or remove the name.

If you go absent, you space will be visibly vacant and your name boldly on the vacant space. Even at that, during the last activity everyday (Night prayers) the chapel prefects reports those absent, the infirmary prefect confirms those that are sick. Like, every sector functions optimally and in synchronisation in such a way that there's no lapse.

The day any single bulb in any part the compound stays without light for up to 24hrs, the technician will be in serious trouble, therefore it rarely happened. If the least thing like window glass or dining cup gets missing, it will be discovered and fixed before 24hours.

The Seminary ran a kind of decentralized leadership, with every sector being independent and in sync with others. Now imagine the effectiveness, imagine a student missing for even 6 hours without getting noticed. If we were to run such leadership as a country, we would be the best country in the world.

If every sector were working in synchrony, tell me why a hotel staff should check in a minor without raising alarm, tell me why the hotel should be operating after being exposed.

That's why billions can miss in this country without a single trace and if noticed, the issue will only be discussed for few hours without any action.

Nigeria needs total overhaul.

That's true. The Irish missionaries established my own school. Seems Nigeria is not good at anything. Sad.

I love your analysis.

The best comment so far.

Did you know that Kabiru Sokoto that bombed St Theresa Catholic Church, Abuja was arrested in Kashim Shettima's lodge. He's today, Bola Tinubu's running mate

On the morning of Dec 25th, 2011, as worshippers gathered for Christmas prayers inside St Theresa Catholic Church, Madalla, Niger State, a bomb exploded killing 37 worshippers. Nigerians were horrified.
"Who could have done this?" was the question on everyone's lips. Goodluck Jonathan, the go-to culprit for everything wrong wt Nigeria was not only blamed but cursed generously. He managed a vow to bring the culprit/s to justice.
In no time, the man pictured below, Kabiru Umar Abubakar Dikko, AKA Kabiru Sokoto was identified as the mastermind of the horrendous bombing.
Security agents under strict instructions from President Jonathan went crazy looking for him and his Boko Haram cell in Abaji was discovered. But despite infiltrating the cell, the terrorist was no where to be found. Intel would later lead to the Asokoro lodge of Kashim Shettima, then the governor of Borno state. Lo and behold that was where the murderer was found and arrested.
Under interrogation, he revealed more info and was taken for a search of his premises at Abaji under the command of Policeman Zakari Biu. Now Biu is an interesting character who alongside the likes of Hamza Mustapha, Sgt. Rogas and Paul Okuntimo did Abacha's sordid jobs. But the unforgiving Olusegun Obasanjo, like he did to all the lunatics of the Abacha era would retire the policeman immediately. How Zakari Bi sneaked back into the NPF under President Yar'Adua remained unnoticed until he was implicated in the escape of Kabiru Sokoto. .
Just hours after Kaburi Sokoto was taken for a search his home in Abaji under the command of Biu news came that the terrorist had escaped custody on their way to Abaji. A livid Jonathan quickly got Zakari Biu and everyone involved arrested and ordered for Sokoto to be produced by whatever means. Another set of state security agents would later track him to Biu village where after a heavy shootout between his men and security agents, he was arrested and under tight security transported to Abuja and charged to court.
On December 21, 2013 he was handed a life sentence by a judge who remarked that the terrorist showed zero remorse for the murders he committed. Why was Kabiru Sokoto hiding in the Borno State Governor's Lodge, Asokoro?
Why was Kashim Shettima vehemently opposed 2 the security directives issued by President Jonathan with respect to the Boko Haram crisis such that it culminated in the Chibok tragedy? Why was Shettima insistent on amnesty for Boko Haram even 3yrs after the presiding judge in the Kabiru Sokoto case clearly said Sokoto did not show any remorse in the course of his trial? We will keep retelling these stories for the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with our immediate history, even if only to serve as sign posts on their walk towards the next polls, and to those who have mischievously chosen to forget, so that by tomorrow when posterity sees the Nigeria our generation bequeathed to them, they will know where we each stood when it mattered. Two days before the Shettima was announced as a running mate, the same Kabiru sokoto escapes from Kuje prison.

In time for the work ahead!

A lawyer Malcolm Omirhobo has dressed in a traditional outfit for appearance at the Supreme Court.

He told reporters his dressing was in protest of last Friday’s judgment by the court, overruling Lagos’s ban of hijab by Muslim female students in public schools.

According to him since the Supreme Court already made the pronouncement, adherents of other religions, including Ogun and Sapoona worshippers, should feel free to adorn their dresses that depict their religious beliefs.

A Nigerian woman, Esther Omale Onwuka and her husband, have welcomed a set of twins after 16 years of marriage, Newspremises reports.

The twins, David and Daniel were dedicated in church on Sunday April 24, in Abuja.

A family member, Dayo Olujuwon shared an emotional video of the new mother praising God on Facebook.

"I will tell the world that Jesus did it!!! My Aunty Esther Omale Onwukawaited on the Lord for 16 years for the fruit of the womb Jesus Gave her Two handsome boys (Twins) David and Daniel,"

Jesus held her to Himself with His righteous right hand, until she witnessed with her eyes His promise for her. He doesn't lie, He doesn't fail. If you see a tear! She understands better. God sustained her!!!!!!!! #childdedication." she wrote.

I personally know the younger brother to this woman. He told me the story about his sister last week. I was surprised. The funniest thing is that this same guy just left my place not quite long.
