PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu Visits Aba (Photos & Videos) by pezest: 9:28am On Aug 28, 2017
aboto77:
What if this huge crowd Nnamdi Kanu is mobilizing match straight to government house to demand good governance? What if they match straight to police/army barracks to demand a stop to extortion of money from drivers? What if the crowd are protesting arrest and prosecution of corrupt politicians who have squandered our commonwealth?

Why do we have so much strength yet decided to channel it wrongly? Why did we decide to wrongly apply our strength? So we will carry flags, uniforms and buses to gather in a city where the roads are not motorable? And we will all smile and shout #biafra right? I think we are not getting it right. I think.

Lets gather to demand something reasonable and you will have my support. Lets demand that our leaders be transparent. Lets demand something that will begin the transformation of our cities/states and not what will make one individual appear "supreme".

By the way, did Nnamdi Kanu arrive Aba with helicopter? Because, the last time I checked, there is no good road around there, no, not even one!

I am for #onenigeria. Nigeria can work!
Stop waiting for others to do what you will support and start doing what others will support.

You have been pro-one-Nigeria since birth and not one day have you risen against the issue of bad road and other things you mentioned.

Nnamdi Kanu is doing what he believes in and you want him to abandon that and start doing your bidding for you to support. Are you condemned to follow? You see something wrong and you can't speak up because you have no voice?

Call me your compatriot.

I'm your friend. A true Nigerian who yearns for peace and progress of his country.

I'll be glad to share my opinion and that of those I represent, on the way out of the nation's present predicament.

It's natural for siblings to have misunderstanding at times. What makes all the difference is how they reconcile their differences.

Nigeria is like a human body. Each part needs the other. For this reason, the federal government should look beyond the agitation for Biafra to find out the reason for their agitation.

Set up a commit that will investigate their source of fund. If their sponsors can be traced and arrested, the boys will go and look for decent job to do. On her part, the government should do more towards engaging Nigerian youths with gainful employment. When they are busy, they won't have time for nonsense.

To achieve this, we need a visionary leader whose policies will be potent enough to suppress corruption and insurgency without fear or favour, and at the same time, promote economic growth

If Buhari is medically unfit to continue with the good work he started in 2015, the presidency should be fair to Nigerians by saying so. At such, since power rotation has turned North, the good people of this country will have no problem to get a credible replacement from the North while osibanjo continues as vice.

The constitution might have said something like a vice succeeding his boss if the later is incapacitated. But obviously, such political correctness, if followed, will only plunge the nation into deeper crises for several reasons.

1st, osibanjo is a political tenderfoot. Worse than his inexperience is his obvious lack of courage to lead the nation out the present quagmire. A man who cannot say boo to a goose will certainly have no answer to our present economic and political needs.

This is the time for Yoruba elders to demonstrate their statesmanship by guiding osibanjo in the direction of peace and fairness.
Don't expect power in the north anytime soon

Gowon killed Biafrans and they will never forget.

The much he can do now is yo apologize openly, which I also doubt with make any meaningful impact.

Apart from oil, what is going to he major of revenue in the new Biafra. I'm saying this in view of the likely post oil effect on oil dependent countries like Biafra. Can Biafra be an agriculturally viable nation, considering its possible constraints due to limited land space, erosion and other hampering factors?

Biafra, the land of milk and honey

Biafra, the land of beauty

I look at Biafran men, I see ebullience, wisdom, dexterity. I see that image of God in man

I look at Biafran ladies and I can only kneel to praise God for his awesome work. Not only are they the most beautiful women physically, they are also the most intelligent. The likes of Ngozi, Chimamanda etc come to mind. Biafra has them in millions.

Good things come from the east.
All hail Biafra

The Yoruba Nation I know has been in the Opposition even since the inception of Nigeria and yet they are not the worst in Nigeria. After the annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential elections won by Moshood Abiola, the powers that be tried to console the Yoruba by appointing Ernest Shonekan the head of the interim Government. Did Yoruba accept Shonekan? No, they did not. They did not come out on the streets with Gbedu Drums to celebrate Yoruba and Chief Shonekan.

Yoruba proudly told the powers that be that you can only be the Head of State in Nigeria through two methods: either through an election or through a successful coup d’état. In the case of Shonekan, he did not ascend to power through either of the above processes. He was therefore rejected by the Yoruba. Now, if it were the Igbo, would they have reasoned this way? I doubt it. In the struggle for June 12, Abiola was put in detention, and his wife killed. Several Yoruba people were in detention and some hounded abroad. Abiola was eventually killed. But did the Yoruba go to war or resort to self-determination? No, they did not. They fought back using common sense and the power of ideas.

In 1998 when the presidency was zoned to the South-West because the late MKO Abiola has paid the supreme price, the Yoruba preferred Olu Falae but the powers that be forced Obasanjo on Nigeria. Now did the Yoruba accept Obasanjo because he is a Yoruba man? They did not. This unique race rejected Obasanjo for the eight years he was in office, from 1999 to 2007. To date the Yoruba still believe that Obasanjo wasted their eight years. OBJ was rejected even in his own ward, in his local government, and in the whole of the Western Region. That is the Yoruba nation for you. Can the Igbo do this? I doubt it. After the 2003 elections, the PDP stole all the states in the South-West, leaving only Lagos because they were afraid of the trouble Lagosians will give them. The Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, fought back like a wounded lion with his committed associates to reclaim almost all the States in the South-West. He did not stop there; he spread his intimidating political tentacles across Nigeria, forming alliances across building networks and bridges, and the result is what we saw on Saturday, March 28, and April 11, 2015.

Now, can any leader in the South-East achieve this feat? Where is the character? Where is the courage? Where is the wisdom and understanding? Where is the Common sense? Where is the discipline? Where is the capacity and capability?

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo: Corrupt Officials Funding Anti-government Media War by pezest: 3:14pm On Jun 05, 2017
For those who didn't know the meaning, APC is a definition of corruption.

1. Your boss got to power without requisite credentials. He gave zombies NEPA bill for a certificate. that is corruption.

2. During campaign, your party made loads of promises and reneged on all. That is corruption.

3. The gale of lopsided appointment as orchestrated by you and your boss to favour Hausa Fulani is corruption.

4. Indirect sponsoring of terrorist groups like Fulani herdsmen to perpetrate genocide against the good people Agatu, Nimbo amongst others is corruption.

corruption is not limited to embezzlement of funds, which you are not even exempted from

true. there is a Yoruba man living in my uncle's compound in Anambra. he and his wife speak Igbo fluently also cook Ofe-akwu and onugbu etc on a steady. they travel home (Yoruba land) for Christmas.

that trip would involve gist upon gist about the Igbos and there way of life. (u can guess)...

let's be smarter. this demons can stoop to any down below gutter level to stop the agitation for Biafra. the first is tru the media.

check that Ronaldo moniker, it was created just June 1. and is so vocal on front page.

imagine creating an account just to play with some people's intelligence and it worked Sha.

let's wake up. the war has already began. it's not with guns this time it's with keyboard, paper and mouth.
They are paid impostors. Not just here. Go to facebook, blogs and ewedu gutter media, u will see all these masked demons bearing names like Okechukwu, Emeka, Obvume etc and they will be writing long epistles solely to discredit the sacred quest for Biafran nation.

I'll tell u something, greater part Nairaland revenue does not come from advertising. FG is paying them handsomely to hamper the restoration of Biafra.

A few days ago, someone posted videos that portrayed protesting people of Biafra SS extraction who gave full support for Biafra to debunk their lies that SS people do not lend support. What happened? mend44 was quick to take down the thread. That particular moderator called mend44 is the same person as omenkalive. He is an ajonja from kwara. He uses mend44 to ban people while omenkalive is to attack Igbo

I could be wrong though, but I wonder how an outsider could know much about Igbo dialects and surname structures. These are things known mostly by natives.
If I pay you handsomely to go and study the way of life in Ogun state, their dialect, dish, culture etc, believe me, within a month, u will come out more knowledgeable than some of their natives.

these people are paid to divide Igbo and SS and plant seeds of hatred here and there. but God will surely punish them for there is no peace for the wicked
