Go and do change of name and affidavit, pointing to all your credentials with the old name as still yours now that you've changed your name.

Is police extract a must?

If rewriting WAEC is the issue,I can do that later when I want to leave.however now I'm in Nigeria if I do this name change I will inform WAEC and NIM.

But my question is,is it a must to do police extract?

Because my tribe and the other tribe have some little culture similarities and my tribe is lossing her culture to the other tribe....

And it was even my primary school teacher who made the mistake and wrote that name on my book since he couldn't spell or understand my name my parents gave me,how ever I want to pick a new name and use.

This new name is a new that one can easily identify my tribe with.I love my tribe and I don't want our culture to die.

The reason I'm changing my name is because the name I'm using is a name from another tribe,I want to pick a name from my own tribe for my self.

Nairalanders, especially our legal experts,I need your advice.

I want to do a change of name,but here is my issue.

All my documents,ids and ssce results carries my old name,that ssce results is about six years old.

In the nearest future I plan to leave Nigeria and join my sibling in asia so I may make use of my 6years WAEC result or enrol for another one.

I can do the normal affidavit and publication of my new name on newspaper for the public to be aware of.

But after I do that will I need to do police extract which I was told cost about 40k , remember the official amount for extract is 5k but our officers are corrupt.so the unofficial price is 40k and others bribes.
I want to know if the police extract is necessary after a change of name.

And also will I inform WAEC and NIM(National Identity Management) about the change so that WAEC can issue me a new result and NIM issue me a new card?

Because I will have to inform my bank.

It's usually by percentage,but I go know more when I want register,I think they pay agents about 30% or so,there also pay for all Ghana game tickets you sell.

But I don't really know how much they pay sub-agents and I have know if I registered,as a sub-agent then my agent will have right to 5percent of my commission.

I chatted with the golden chance lotto Facebook page,that I want to register as a sub-agent,they ask me to meet an agent to register with me and give me terminal.

But I have search through Benin city,there's none here.I ask the Facebook representative to give any of their agent contact but he refuse.

My People how can I get Thier agent contact,I want to register as soon as possible,I have a good location,a very busy location.

I shop will sell ticket from 7am to 7pm everyday except on Sunday when I will resume by 1pm after church services.
