did they ask for COVID19. Because from their website, they said it isn’t required

No they didn't ask for covid test...when she got to the airport they didn't even ask if she was fully vaccinated or not. So I guess the info on their website is correct.

Latest update on Mexico trip..
Lufthansa took off by 11:40pm Nigerian time and they got to Germany 8 hours later. She had a stop 5 hours stopover in Germany and took of to Mexico afterwards. I couldn't reach her after the phone call in Germany ( I was worried).
She video called me some minutes ago and told me her trip was fine and they flew for 11hours from Frankfurt to Cancun. She said she didn't go through any form of hassle at the Cancun airport and everything went smoothly.
They will be going to the AirBnB they booked later today and will pay in person. ( If you wanna book an AirBnB look for one you can pay in person). The AirBnB guy came to pick them up at the airport for 200 pesos. Lost story short Thank God she arrived safely and the journey was hassle free.

She went with another girl from Nigeria as well. They are already splitting the bills. I read there is a whatsapp group for people going via Mexico. Someone might be able to help there.

she's booked an AirBnB for when she arrives in Mexico.

muymacho:

Do you have an idea of how she is sorting the accommodation?

As I have said earlier she didn't book the flight to Mexico initially, she only reroute/changed her flight from Canada to Mexico, so I don't know how much it is to fly to Mexico ( you can check Google flights tho to compare airline prices).

She didn't get a tourist visa since we read you don't need one as long as you have a valid Canadian Visa. She's also going to Cancun by the way.
Thanks.

Sorry about the mails, I only got notifications I didn't get the content of the mails. She's going via Lufthansa airlines. She originally wanted to fly to Canada but because of the ban she went to their office today to change the destination of the flight to Mexico. She added about 100k (p.s it's a return ticket and the prices might differ).

For the guy/girl with the Turkish issue, you can go to their office or call their customer care and ask if they can change your flight's destination.

Dear Guru Frankrobbn1,

i will be requiring your expertise soonest as i commence this journey.

My situation is similar to ajikaz2003, but my previous visa refusal has been on Visitor Visa.

Initial reason for refusal was
1. Leaving Canada based on Family Ties in Canada & Nigeria
2. Leaving based on purpose of visit
3. Personal Assets & Financial Status.

Upon the second application it was refused based on Purpose of Visit only.

I know my SOP/LOE for the Student Visa needs to be very detailed and am willing to commence work on it asap to ensure i leave no stone unturned.
From the last visa refusal in Feb 2019, family ties has become stronger as i didn't have my kids then.

Will greatly appreciate all support from yourself and other gurus in the house for a successful application.

Course - MBA St John - Fall 2021 (hoping i can pull this through)
POF - Sufficient and excess funds for Tution and Living Expenses
Family Ties - Kids, Husband and Parents. Landed properties in my name
Employment - Stable Employment with 1 yrs experience. Reason for study is Career Progression.

N.B - Would love to have my twins go with me as they are relatively young (less than 3 yrs), but considering the complexity i might apply for them after my application has been approved.

I have a sister who lives in Canada, while the other one has a Canadian PR but resides in the USA.

Thank you for your suggestions, advise and support as a i am positive of a successful application.
