Eteka1: These ones still de act drama to entertain gullible political illiterates called Obidients and Atikulators. Meanwhile Fubara applied to the Supreme Court for stay of execution pending the determination of the appeal. That application for stay of execution was rejected today.
This kind of stupidity by Fubara and his boys, I never see am🤣.
Go comot them na then impeach the governor lets see... 😂 since una don turn to stubborn goat wey no dey hear word.
Benbellamor: I hope you won't cry when INEC roll out LANs to conduct Election replacing oko-jombo and two others....Appeal court has spoken and no going back
I hope you'll be there to recieve Rivers people when they decide to march onto the streets in defiance of the crooked appeal or supreme court judgement ?
No be to dey ogbomosho dey champion the impunity of Wike because of Tinubu.
Rivers people have spoken loud and clear but e be like say some of una dey blind and deaf. No wahala! 😂
I don't understand how the president is finding it difficult to call one expired politician to order.
I hope wike is worth all this madness in Rivers state to Tinubu? I hope... because I find it totally mind boggling that the president cannot see that the glory has left wike.
Wike CANNOT win his LG in a RIGGED election today! Take it to the bank! If Tinubu feels that that same Wike still has a lot to offer then I wish him goodluck.
Rivers people no dey fear war o! If country don tire una and you guys need help in breaking apart this contraption, WE WILL HAPPILY OBLIGE YOU! 😂
... correct! Wike think say na only him sabi game.
The Rivers matter will show the whole world how corrupt our country is.
I see a supreme court judgement being disobeyed for the first time in this country because the judiciary has made itself a bitch for these crooked politicians to use anyhow.
Those 27 lawmakers are gone! The earlier INEC does the needful the better.
ayomilore: Floating of currency xan only work for a very productive nation where their exports surpasses import, the reverse is thea case in our Country but the abuse of dollar sales by Bankers handling the official rate (round tripping) is what necessitated the floating .
I understand but it was silly.. in order to kill a rat, you burn down the house.
Instead of fight the corruption in fuel subsidy, you stop the whole thing.
Instead of fighting the corruption in FX subsidy, you float the currency and tank your economy.
If you know Paul Alaje, you'll know hes one the most sound economists we have. listen to him very well especially the first five minutes of the interview.
Also, listen to the important points he made at 43:04, 43:41 and 43:49
Finally, listen to the advice he gave Tinubu at 47:03
In this interview, one concept was prominent all through and that is PRODUCTION! we can make no headway without it.
'it will be well in the long run'..... when is this "long run"? when we are all dead?
ALTERNATEID: Well, if Peter ever becomes the president, he should do whatever he likes. If he likes, he should use the entire country as collateral to borrow to pay for PMS subsidies and keep exchange rates low. But you see this Tinubu that is currently your president, he won’t toe that ruinous path that have led to nothing but debt and economic stagnation. He will sustain this policy till the end of his administration.
The era of rent and arbitrage seekers making billions from a corrupt subsidy and multiple exchange rate regime is over for good. Just this morning, we woke up to the news of Allen Onyema’s criminal indictment. One of the allegation against him was that he collected $20million from CBN to buy aero planes but diverted the funds back to Nigeria to sell at the black market only to make double the money. For how long do you guys want this criminality to continue? Don’t you guys have any pity for your country? Must everything be politics?
Go and listen to the Paul Alaje interview on Sunday politics.. I'll post the interview tomorrow.
yyba: Illiterate kids everywhere with free bonus data to create senseless thread all over the place
Go and look for a job instead of hanging around defending the useless aso rock charlatan fr free! Are you not ashamed of yourself Yarimo? Don't you ever spare a thought for your family?
Greatjaywork: This is laughable... See how what these people have turned our institutions into and some young men will come here defending this level of foolishness...
My brother, I felt nauseous 🤢 all through this interview.
Little wonder we make little to no progress as a nation when we have charlatans without integrity, principle or ideology at the helm of our political affairs.
A country where the worst of us are leading the best of us cannot make any headway. Its pathetic, disgraceful and embarrassing.
These are the young men wike deceived, taught them dishonesty and how to proudly flaunt that wicked dishonesty in our faces.

The man who responded in the last screenshot was very correct.
Peter Obis response to Rufai was simply what he would do seeing how the floatation he himself would have done is totally uncontrollable! His response was about what he would do TODAY to stem the tide.
ALTERNATEID: I’ve been very specific about the need to remove subsidy from PMS and exchange rate because those two have take everything we earned and borrowed for years. It’s really funny seeing you guys arguing that we should continue on that same route. You guys really think we will still get anyone to borrow us money again in the next two years if we continue with the Buhari era policies? Do you guys understand the kind of mess we are in economically? Do you understand what it means to earn N100 and use N97 to pay for debt? Do you understand the corruption in the subsidy and forex system?
You talked about foreign companies leaving. Yes, some of them will leave because they saw that the game is up. They’ve sucking up our forex earnings for years and not that they saw that the party is over, they have to leave.
Before May 29 last year, a company that made a net profit after tax of N2000 for example can conveniently cover the N2000 through official CBN channels to a little over $4. And of course, this will be repatriated to the home country. Now that government is no longer subsidizing the Naira, same company with a profit of N2000 can only get a little over $1 to repatriate. No more free meal and that’s why some left. Those who are serious and ready to work are still here.
Like I said, we need a sustained period of time. We will achieve exchange rate stability over time l. That’s the goal for now but it requires time and policy consistency. We can debate how things can be done better and how the reforms can be better managed for optimal result. However, saying we should go back to borrowing billions of dollars and printing trillions of ways and means loan just to keep PMS low and Naira strong is a no no.
The bolded is a joke right? Please how this your theory explain the myriad of local companies that have closed shop? You guys will defend the indefensible and its mind boggling.
Sanofi, GSK, Diageo , Kimberly Clark have closed shop, taking their tax money, employment and CSR with them and you are explaining their exit away as a good thing? For real? 😂
Okay, the companies that have stayed back according to you ARE SURVIVING UNDER THESE ECONOMIC CONDITIONS HOW EXACTLY?? 😂
By the way, can you list the companies that have stayed back and are doing well. 😂
UncleAyo: But it is your people that have it in you to build; then why don't you replicate the "having it in you to build" in your region?
Lagos state governor was building different infrastructures, including the rail lines. This is how Lagos was gradually developed to become what it is (Same with other governors in other southwest states)... What are you governors doing?
Lagos state is already developed before your people begin to massively migrate to Lagos in less than 3 or 4 decade ago. Must we spell out everything for you?
Yes, lagos was already developed by who? Yoruba ronu billionaires or the colonialists? When the billionaire Odumegwu Ojukwus father was trading in lagos, who had already developed lagos by then? Abi he's no longer igbo? 😂
The igbos are traders and are always attracted to seaports where they can facilitate that trade.
Lagos is witnessing rapid development today because of a foundation laid for it by the colonialists and the rest of Nigeria... the contribution from the indigenous yoruba was miniscule in the grand scheme of things.
Okay, we igbo DID NOT PUT A PIN IN LAGOS , HAPPY NOW BUT NEITHER DID THE YORUBA! 😂 .Case closed!
Like I said, if you want us to take you serious, go and develop ogbomosho 😂
babasolution: Abuja is getting there and probably already there ,the seaport is the only thing saving LAGOS nothing else
That's what they forget but their leaders know. You see those seaports? Na im be the "Lagos" una dey hear about 😂...
That's why through wicked policies, they northern-western axis made sure the Eastern ports never worked optimally. They know if ports in the east work, Lagos dies!
