pretykid: shocked rilyyy,waoh dts surprising...na wa ooo,tnx 4d info
That's not really how it is for everybody. He is talking based on his own case. Can he truthfully say that everybody that attended OAU experienced those things he mentioned and got delayed? I think it may not be too correct to think that: because he experienced something everybody will experience the same thing & can't have a different experience. His delay may have been peculiar to him, his department or due to other factors that he may not mention here, for example, if he had a bad relationship with his supervisor, has a bad attitude to work or was unserious with his project & could not meet up with his supervisor's deadline etc. he would not tell you all that, but will prefer to say "OAU delayed me or OAU delays people". Please, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say OAU is perfect, but you should be suspicious when someone criticizes destructively or says there is nothing good about them. He has a right to his own opinion anyway, but in my own opinion too (which I'm also entitled to) what he gave wasn't really information about OAU, but much more like misinformation. But you also have a right to decide what to believe or not. Thanks

pearlAdams: Tanx bro, d race is nt to d swift but it is God dat showeth mercy. Am stil prayin 4 favor. I salute everyone who took d test, they r all gud...dats y they qualify 4 d test in d first place. I want to say d statement by Cajetan or wateva is name, is very immatured. I wish every well, let God do His tin
Yeah, Thanks too... About the genius, Mr. Cajetan, as for me, I can't really estimate his maturity or say whether he is, or isn't mature just by that single argument he made & I don't know him before now, but I asked those questions in order to find out his premises for making that argument or having that opinion & to see if that argument can be inferred from his premises. I thought he would be bold enough to respond to my questions, although I'm not ready to argue with him or anyone about any opinion they have or express, my response to him if he had replied that he didn't graduate with first class honours would have been as simple as: "I'M NOT SURPRISED" and nothing more than that, but if he's a first class degree holder & wrote that test, it would have been something like: "I'M VERY SURPRISED" but in that case it would not have been limited to that, I may have wanted to ask some more questions and maybe, have a little discussion with him... But since when has it even become necessary for any First class graduate to come to nairaland to get endorsed by Mr. Cajetan? For all those that wrote the test (even if Mr. Cajetan is included) I wish them all the best by God's grace.

ijanarado: Monday has passed... No info... How on earth can dis thing still work dis year guys.... NDDC nothing, Mobil, Agip ....make I kukuma go pay school fees for UNN do me masters biko. MtShew
Based on the rate at which things have been done by NUC since the closing date of the application, I expected them to publish it as early as last week monday, but I thought they didn't due to the public holiday, but I still don't understand why it wasn't published today too, I've checked their site so many times today... I guess "I'm just passionately curious"...lol... smiley whatever will be, will be anyway. In my opinion, God's grace is what matters most. If this is "it" for me, I'll be grateful & appreciate, if it's not, I'll understand & still be grateful.
EducationRe: Pressid Scholarship Aptitude Test Scores - First Class Graduates by PhatIon: 7:25pm On Aug 27, 2012
I read in the NUC bulletin of monday, 20th August that the number of scholarships will increase from the 100 of this year to 500 next year, although I was surprised to find out from the same bulletin that few people also wrote the test simultaneously at a centre abroad. I was surprised because I thought it was only for graduates of Nigerian universities based on the initially listed criteria, although I don't mind anyway, as long as they're fellow Nigerians. I also thought it was only for people who've completed NYSC, but the bulletin stated that those who can show evidence that they'll complete it within two months were also qualified. But the bulletin didn't specifically indicate if those who miss out on the scholarship this year will still be qualified to get it next year.

alikwaghe01: @Whizkidy, there is nothing bad having same surname with someone.
Based on how it was written, I don't think it's the same surname that you have with the person, but the same first name and middle name... A very possible, but also very rare & unusual coincidence ...coupled with the fact that that you know the person ...but I can give you "the benefit of doubt" sha... Anything is possible, ...although a lot of things are unlikely to happen anyway. But remember, you have nothing to prove to anybody here & you have a right not to/to disclose what you don't wish/wish to disclose. Take care sir

Congrats baba! Well done jàré, I think your own case is not about "if" you'll make the list but "when". I've been watching this topic for sometime, but registered few minutes ago to ask some questions due to the opinion someone expressed in a comment. Well done once again Adams, you're lucky already, but Goodluck sir.

Cajetan speaks: Any first class student that didn't score upto 70 is a disgrace to his alma mater and not worthy to parade a 1st class degree.
I have three questions for you if you don't mind answering: Did you graduate with first class honours? What did you score in the test if you did it? What course did you read? You can ask me questions too. I'll answer them if they're questions I don't mind answering whether you answer mine or not. Thanks smiley
