deewhydoski: Does anyone here know what level 10 officer in NAFDAC received? And any other benefits you think I should know. I am thinking of transferring there. I work for one agency under federal ministry of health.
In term of career prospect, I studied Industrial and Analytical Chemistry for both BSc and MSc, do I stand a chance working there? And do I have a good career prospect ahead of me if I work there?
I just need someone that work there to advice me. Thank you
A man has revealed that he stopped attending his church after the pastor asked members to contribute money to buy a car for his wife.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man explained that he left the church after the pastor, who already owned five cars, told the congregation that his wife, “Mummy,” did not have a car and urged them to donate towards getting her one
He wrote: “I left my former church the day my pastor with five cars told us, ‘Mummy does not have her own car. Let’s get her one.’ I knew I was in the wrong place.”
Though he did not disclose the church’s name, his revelation sparked reactions online, with many social media users flooding the comment section to share their thoughts.
See some reactions below:
@lollypeezle: “Maybe he was talking about your mum, you should have calmed down. Let him explain the mum.”
@HonNonsoNwankwo: “I learnt from my dad that whenever a pastor ask for what I cannot give my own family, or ask for money to buy what he can live without, quit & run. That’s not God’s church but Pastor’s shop.”
@DamonAss101: “Me I left the day they were forcing me to speak in tongues.. I told them speaking in tongues, you have to be filled with the holy Spirit as a herd but this guy was practically teaching me to say macacasaba koboloko lala.”
@It_Chioma: “This is so shameful and you will think it is made up. Some of these men don’t know God.”
@Uzanethegoat: “my priest in a Catholic Church started calling offering from 15m that’s when I realized it’s all business.”
@IykeNwaObi: “So you ran away because you don’t want to buy mummy GO car? A whole mummy GO.”

@gskodam: “I stopped taking church seriously when I was a teenager. On this faithful Sunday when a family came for a thanksgiving and they spent about an hour on the pulpit because they were wealthy and brought in a new sound proof generator.”
@olulade15: “It’s been two years & some months I av gone to church & I feel no remorse at all. Most churches are business centre. The day I realized if I kneel down in my room & pray to God he answers I stopped. I only attend prayer programmes quarterly, half year or at d end of d year.”
Mine wanted to change his car when his members don't even have jack. So insensitive
GistMedia0: A viral video making the rounds online has left social media users in shock after a young woman was seen licking her boyfriend’s toes while trimming his toenails.
In the clip, the beautiful lady carefully cut her lover’s toenails before unexpectedly bringing out her tongue to lick his big toe. She then smiled for the camera as her boyfriend recorded the moment. She went on to repeat the same action on his other toes, seemingly as a show of loyalty and devotion.
The bizarre act has since generated a wave of reactions online, with many questioning her decision. One user commented, “And the girl looks pretty. Why is she being stupid?” Another wrote, “Young women, learn a skill, work hard, and earn legitimately so that someone’s grandfather won’t turn your mouth into a nail cutter and foot massager.”
While some defended the lady’s actions as a sign of love, others criticized it as unnecessary and demeaning. The debate continues as netizens weigh in on the lengths some go to for relationships.
LocalFARMERS: I farm Garden eggs both in the dry season and raining season. During the dry season, I use irrigation process to water my Garden Egg farm.
To achieve this, I need a pumping machine, fuel, workmen. All these affect the price of the Garden eggs before it gets to the market.
PuZZyNegro: I traveled from Lagos to Port Harcourt to see my future in laws family. My girl wasn't around as she's still in Lagos schooling.
I went there with a family member and got them some items like shortcake biscuits and juice.
They offered us food and we ate. After the meeting and normal questioning, we were set to go when surprisingly, this people brought out two loaves of bread and gave us. I told them that the food we ate was enough, that we don't need the bread.
We haven't even gone far when my girl started texting me on WhatsApp angrily asking me why I rejected her mother's gift. That she gave it out of love, this and that.
I told her that bread is the wrongest gift the mother could give me. I am supposed to buy them bread and not the one way round. I intentionally refused to buy bread for them because I assumed bread is an everyday food that people buy and eat, so I decided to go with the package biscuits instead and here they are offering me bread.
If it were something produced locally by them like coconut or something, I can understand but bread?
Please, did I do anything wrong rejecting the bread?
In marriage and life, you have to be diplomatic. Next time, you ll collect and keep except they forced you to eat it right there
thesicilian: First you list your wife as your sister. Then you get married to a foreigner, get citizenship and divorce just a few years after. Then you bring back your Nigerian wife (whom you previously listed as your sister!) to the same country, while allowing her to attach her original marriage certificate.
How can a professor of Economics be thinking like an uneducated bricklayer?
When your ways ain't pure, you leave loopholes behind. He thought every Country is like Nigeria that doesn't have database
ppogba: Okay sir. I would have loved to ask you to name any spanish big boy national team player whether past or present that did not pass through the U17 but that will be dragging the issue unecessarily.
Chetas81: LOL THAT IS CHOICE, EXAMPLE IS WHY MUST I DO PASS MY SELF, IM EARNING 100K MONTHLY,BUT SPENDING LIKE DANGOTE __ THIS IS FOOOOOOLISH IDEA FIGHTING THE NIGERIAN CITIZEN OF TODAY
It's not a choice, wait till you get owed 3 months salary and you ll know that shit happens
ppogba: The yardstick and parameter for measuring how well you are doing at the stage is participating in FIFA competitions no matter how frequent. How do you justify whatever efforts being put in when you can not even qualify for competitions. Eskis sir, there is a reason why Nigeria is called the most successful nation at that grade. When things are not going right there, highlighting such will not be out of place.
Wrong How many u17 did England participate in? How many u17 has Spain won?
These Contries consistently produced qf, sf and final performance at the Senior world cup. The developed their youth through their leagues and other in house competitions, not waiting for fifa U17 every 2yrs
Chetas81: ROBOT NEED NO FOOD, WHERE DO YOU NIGERIAN CITIZEN THINK FOOD AND CASH COMING FROM, NIGERIA CITIZEN DROP OUT FROM SCHOOL SHOULD ENGAGED IN LEGITIMATE PRACTICE, NOT TO BE IDOL DOING NOTHING
Lol But those that are working ain't get paid. In Nigeria, you can be working and still live in penury
ppogba: A sane society should be more concerned about it's youth. If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do asks the bible? The U17 and youth grade groups are the bedrock of any footballing nation. List the achievements of our youth teams and compare it with our achievements at club level. That should be a basis for further argument.
U17 is just one of the programmes, must you wait for FIFA competition every 2yrs to develop your youth? That is why we do not experience true progression
