He should talk with constitution and procedures. This man can never lead a nation because he has no quality. Candidate only emerges after party primaries. There are procedures for submission and confirmation with affidavit. If u lie, they take u to court. So if a carpenter willing to be councilor or president he must go and look for primary school or secondary school certificate from where? The law is minimum of 15 years experience. Or any academic qualifications u have. Obi should start from national assembly. He has reps and senators from his home but he never thought of sponsoring any bill. Only on X handle. |

mcquin: Researchers, over to you on the new appointee's profile.
I personally do not believe Tinubu won the last election giving Buhari/APC 's outing prior. However, Tinubu has proven to be a far better administrator than Buhari and in some respect, Jonathan (although he owes Jonathan an apology for the subsidy protest, having come to swallow his vomit on keeping subsidy).
Having said the above, regardless my support of Tinubu 's economic policy, it will take heavy politicking, and some rigging for Tinubu to win the coming election. This is not because Tinubu has been terrible, but because Nigerians are too poor, uneducated to appreciate the reforms. If we agree, the greater number are hungry illiterates with a need for immediate gratification, then you'd agree that the greater number won't want Tinubu back. Those that are literate enough as Sanusi, Iweala, to appreciate his policies, do not have the numbers. So see you see rigging. The first thing is what is rigging in an election? Secondly is who Riggs in an election?, the candidate or its supporters ? The 3rd is, is rigging synonymous to only elections or any other like banking, manufacturing, policies, etc? 4th is if everyone commenting on social media today have the opportunity to use Thier phones and comments to vote for Thier preferred candidate are they going to vote once? Going by the levels of aggressiveness we witnessed from supporters. In my own opinion, only option A4 can reduce rigging if we don't mind the consequences, because every party Riggs in Thier strong old. |

Quality education is the bedrock of every nation that dreams of greatness. Lolz, the simple honest response is that you can never do anything within one week in Nigeria going by the current 1999 constitution except a military decree. Even this president that said subsidy was gone from day 1 took several procedure and legislation before it was gazetted. So how do u want to fix education in one week when 22states was owing salaries as of your taken over day. Also ASSU was on strike and NLC planning to go on Strike as u resumed. Lolzzz. slivertongue: Cost of administration is the focus here. Even states and LGAS that generates less than quarter of their running cost are spending like states with more than enough. I understand but those that are spending are also employees with a lot of other people and businesses depending on them for survivals. Prudence in spending and awards of contract in due process should be the bottom line. Each time we collapsed a system and lots of workers disengaged we created more problems than keeping them on the job. It's natural in Africa that once you take away someone job, You already an enemy and they must regroup to fight back. As u can see today, the banditry, kidnapping and online scams today are products of few of so many people laid off from banks mergers, military and other forces dismissing convicted personnel and Many from other parastatals and private sectors. Reducing cost of governance is good but reducing number of states or LG will definitely lead to job lose which I don't think it's ok. |

Baxilexi: Firstly, you somehow took the opportunity to vilify Christianity, which is quite disrespectful and intolerant. Everyone should have the right to religion, but should never use it as an instrument of violence or cohesion. You’re not a scientist hence your ignorance to the argument/validity of the God factor. One of them is called ‘God of gaps’. There are so many constants in science like gravity, that is too precise to be coincidental.
Secondly, you should understand that Christianity was never accepted with open hands, it wasn’t a white-man’s religion as oftentimes parroted. It was a force that couldn’t be stopped, martyrs loved not themselves even unto death, and whichever nation fought in the name of Christ overcame. Europe was a pagan nation but were overcome by Christianity. England was very pagan, same with Italy (people like Girolamo Savonarola), the Dutch - Norse Gods couldn’t save them when Christianity came to their door steps, same as the Aztecs. Down to Africa, our shameless idols, ifa, ogun, ekpe, sango, olokun etc were powerless in the face of Christianity.
Science is about the works of God, religion is about the person of God and both should remain pillars of the Nigerian society.
PS., these politicians are diabolical, don’t be naive to think Tinubu believes in Charles Darwin. Sir, how old are you when the people or Christianity was formed. Also we learnt people have been existing before Jesu and Mohammed? And God created heaven and hearth but the religions were not created then by God why? |

I think leadership at all level should be kind to implement good policies to Thier people rather than seeing it as opportunity to cash out. Your grandiosity is legendary You people should try to be intelligent in reasoning each government economic performances. Anytime you are talking about 2015 economy, first ask yourself why Nigerians and workers are owned salaries up to 15month in up to 22 states? Is that you call flourishing economy? Where people have nothing to buy food despite the prices was lesser than today? Very clueless!!, Hunger everywhere then. That states borrow money up and down? Buhari first move was to give bailout funds to states. Is that an economy Obi and Atiku is promising Nigerians. Okonjo said then we are entering recession already at 2015 and it happened just as Buhari inherited the worst economy. It's not a rocket science, countries with bigger economy today u can refer to made a lot of heavy sacrifices before getting there but Nigerians want to sleep and wakeup to see dollar= ₦100.00 without making any moves. |
