You actually need a broadband sim to use the unlimited. The data package is even different from a regular SIM card and the registration process is also different

Yes it will work you can use any Airtel sim on your router. Router don't select sim

pick what works for you, even the normal data you are not getting the accurate data so what are talking about, there is no tranperency anywhere its just for you to pick what gives you more value for your money thats all

MTN will get you 165gb at 35k
Airtel will get 160gb for 30k

so it is sill fair if you can get over 600gb with unlimited with 30k

The lack of transparency is clear with Airtel advertising this plan as truly unlimited, with no data cap or speed throttling, yet they throttle the speed at 1TB. It's a breach of trust and false advertising. They can only get away with this in Nigeria. Look at what they offer in India—truly unlimited and affordable plans, even with VoIP call time and streaming services included.

i totally agree with you 5G router should not be that expensive actually, 4G will get most things done especially when the network in your area is good,

5g only work in area there is 5g, otherwise you will only get 4g which is also enough to do whatever you want to do.

Another thing is that, if you are planning to buy it for the purpose of subscribing unlimited plan on it, then for me, the 5g router is useless since you won't be getting more than the capped speed of either 20mbps or 60mbps for the 50k sub. Except if the router come with WiFi 6 and I still don't think that is enough to get the 5g router instead of their 4g which is cheaper

People go for what they can afford actually everything with advantage get disadvantage so weight your option and pick what is comfortable for you
