Religion / Typical Nigerian Pastor by philanthropist1(m): 7:35am On Sep 01, 2017
The typical Nigerian Pastor won't talk about Usain Bolt or Serena Williams.
He won't talk about Aliko Dangote or Ngozi Okonji Iwuala or Tony Elumelu or late Dora Akunyili.
The typical Nigerian pastor won't talk about Steve Jobs or the young people in Silicon Valley reshaping our world.
He won't talk about young American scientists spending endless hours in search of a cure to a disease that's predominantly in the Tropical African region.
The typical Nigerian pastor won't talk about Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Ben Okri.
In every corner of the world, there exist young men and women who defied all odds and became successful through hardwork, creativity and dedication...
The typical Nigerian pastor won't talk about them......neither will he ask his members to emulate the spirit of these individuals.
He would rather talk about sister Agatha who got a job she WAS NOT THE MOST QUALIFIED because she prayed and fasted in line with their church program.
Or
Brother John who became a millionaire because he used all his salary as a seed in the church.
Or
Papa Miracle who he laid his hands on and 3 of his children got admission in the university
Or
Mama Esther paid her tithe and her business started growing everywhere across the nation......no business plan, just boom, everywhere.
This has led to a new breed of mentally lazy young people who now see God as a rewarder of mediocrity.
To the typical Nigerian Pastor,
the only way to prosper is by paying your tithe and sowing seeds in the church. So they will never talk about those who have through hardwork and dedication placed themselves on the world map.
No......the Nigerian God only blesses the first 30 people that rush to the altar to drop 100,000NGN as seed.
The Nigerian God abhors hardwork and creative thinking. He only gives to those who sow seeds and offerings......and those who shout "I am a millionaire" every morning and do nothing the rest of the day.
Continue....
you want God to come down and help you use the talent He gave you and bless you because you are going to church to shout "Daddy I receive it".
You are all jokers.
Can someone tell these jokers that irrespective of your creed, faith or religion, blessings and favours follow you once you start using your talent and become useful to your society. What about other religious/spiritual persons that are not Christians, they don't shout these things yet they are successful?
Do you know that God will question you if you return to him with all the resources he bestowed on you untaped. Grace truly speaks but don't forget that hard counts pertinently. Proverbs 22:29 readd
"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."
Don't forget that Faith without work is dead

Crime / Man Stabs Friend To Death Over Power Connection Disagreement by philanthropist1(m): 9:44am On Jul 18, 2017
A man , Chibuzor Nwafor, has been arrested for stabbing his friend and neighbour , Amarana Chikezie , to death following a disagreement over power connection at their residence in Kado - Kuchi behind Next Shopping plaza , Jabi , Abuja .
The incident , which occurred around 10 pm last Sunday, has thrown the neighbourhood into mourning .
Amarana , 23 , a graduate of Community Development from Enugu State University of Science and Technology , was certified dead on arrival at the Gwarimpa General Hospital .
Amarana ’s elder sister , Precious , told our correspondent on Sunday that the deceased was stabbed in the heart leading to his demise shortly after.
She explained that Nwafor and her brother were friends , stressing that the murder of Amarana was premeditated .
She said she was informed by eyewitnesses that Nwafor had asked her brother to meet him at home so they could resolve an issue bordering on the illegal power connection by a new neighbor , who was said to have been sanctioned by Amarana .
Precious said , “Chibuzor phoned my brother to come back home so they could talk about the power supply extended to a new neighbour by Amarana .
“In the course of their discussion , they started quarreling and they were prevented from fighting by those present .
“The next thing that Chibuzor did was to enter his room and got a knife which he hid so that the others would not see it; he then stabbed my brother in the heart .
“I don’t know why he would kill somebody he ate and drank with . I believe he planned the murder all along , but he must tell the world why he did this .”
A common friend of both Amarana and Chibuzor, who spoke on condition of anonymity , explained that the deceased was planning to join the Nigerian Air Force before his death.
Narrating how Amarana died , he said that the deceased was rushed to a pharmacist after he was stabbed , who declined to treat him unless there was a police report .
He said , “We then decided to take him to Gwarimpa General Hospital , but we couldn ’t get a vehicle on time . For about 20 minutes , we were looking for a cab while we kept him in front of the chemist shop .
“It was a man who was going to a church vigil that took him to the hospital, but the doctor said he died five minutes after he was stabbed , adding that there was no way he could have survived because the knifed penetrated his heart .”
He further stated that Chibuzor was tricked to the hospital where he was arrested by policemen who were waiting for him.

Politics / Biafra- Governor Rochas Disappointed As His Plan Failed by philanthropist1(m): 3:43pm On Jul 05, 2017
The governor summoned the commoners, he locked all the markets to ensure compliance. They were to meet him at the Dan Anyiam stadium. The people suspected he wants to use them for another political point to show that the people are with him and not with Nnamdi Kanu and His Biafra "ignoramuses" as you, very enlightened people call them.
These people decided to arrive with Biafra flags and banners to the venue. Very large flags and banners. They hoisted the flags all over the stadium. They waited for their governor for more than 4 hours , he didn't show up.
Information filtered in that he has asked them to reconvene at Heroes Square, some said ICC, some, freedom park. Some persons marched to these venues and the governor did not show up in any.
Suddenly news filtered in that Nnamdi kanu was passing through Douglas road to mbaise road enroute umuahia. Immediately the crowd surged, persons numbering more than 100, 000 came out to have a glimpse of this circumstantial hero and "fraud" as you Mr and Mrs integrity refer to him. The noise was tumultuous, motorists stopped, the police and traffic personnels' joined the entire people to sing and wave at that man you labelled a "fraud".
The joy in the faces of these illiterates whose voices you hate to hear whenever they chant Biafra, was emotionally overwhelming.
The people have chosen their leader!
...I saw him my self..

Have you ever imagined the negative effects of cooking with aluminum foils? There are a lot of utensils which are used by people all over the world to prepare tasty meals in the kitchen such as ceramic knifes, tin foils, pots and the rest.
Aluminum foil is used as storeroom for storing foods in the kitchen, in baking, preparing moi-moi. As well, aluminum pots are also used for cooking most of our foods which we consume on daily basis.

Now let us explain to you the dangerous effect of cooking with aluminum foil to your health.

Affects the brain:
Alzheimer’s disease is linked with neurotoxic heavy metals and aluminum is an example of this neurotoxic metal. Frequent exposure to these neurotoxic metals causes Alzheimer which is characterized by decline in coordination, balance and memory. Permanent memory loss may occur that can’t be reversed.

Affects the bones:
The neurotoxic heavy metal of aluminum tends to accumulates in the bone and fight for space with calcium in the bones. When the neurotoxic heavy metal finally wins the war, the calcium level in the bone drops drastically and this will make the body bones and skeletal frame to be weak.

Affects the lungs:
Respiratory problems, pulmonary fibrosis can be acquired by the inhalation of aluminum. Regular cooking with aluminum foil can cause unhealthy lungs. Other means it gets to the body is through using deodorants with aluminum, drinking from aluminum cans.

Eating Aluminum flakes:
You may be wondering how you can consume aluminum flakes but it happens when you cook with this foil at high temperatures whether grilling or baking. While cooking on high temperature, the heat creates tiny cracks in the metal which can break off and flake into the food. The surprising part is that the flakes will be too infinitesimal that you will not be able to recognize it.
