Health / Home Remedies For Hair Fall by philanthropist1(m): 6:50pm On Sep 07, 2016
Hair falls off naturally because it undergoes a cycle whereby each hair follicle passes through a growth stage that lasts between 2 to 8 years then followed by 2 month resting stage where no growth takes place. After the resting stage, the hair strands fall off and new one starts to grow in its place. Read up factors that cause hair fall off.

HOME REMEDIES FOR HAIR FALL

Requirement:
A cup of coconut milk

What to do:
1. Grind a grated coconut and squeeze out its milk
2. Use your dye brush and apply the coconut milk on your scalp
3. Cover your head with towel and leave it on for about 25 minutes
4. Remove your towel and rinse your hair with cold water
5. Wash with shampoo
6. Repeat it once in a week

Why it works
a) Coconut milk moisturizes your hair and keep it healthy because it is very rich in Vitamin E and fats
b) Coconut milk is good for hair growth because of its high potassium content(vital for hair growth)
c) Coconut milk reduces hair breakage because of its protein, fat and minerals content
d) Its antibacterial properties protect the hair from damage.
e) It strengthens the hair right from the root through the shaft to the tip.

.ALOE VERA:

Requirement:
Aloe vera plant (leaf or stalk)

What to do:
1. Wash your hair
2. Extract the pulp content from the aloe vera and rub it into your hair.
3. Massage the aloe vera pulp all over your scalp.
4. Rinse with cold water after 15 minutes.
5. Repeat it three times in a week, ideally in the morning or late in the evening.

Why it works:
a) Aloe vera promotes hair growth by its ability to penetrate deep into the hair and scalp.
b) Aloe vera balances the pH levels of the scalp and hair.

Caution:
For those who are latex-intolerant, the yellow-colored sap of the aloe vera can irritate the skin because of its toxin properties. You can convert the toxins into natural salicyclic acid (by boiling the plant before extracting the pulp) which is harmless to the skin..
