Imagine people scoring over 200 not getting admission in an already saturated University of choice, of which has been the trend yearly. JAMB posting policy will be limited to the Geo-political zones /Catchment areas only. For example you chose a saturated UNILAG and you were offered FU Ekiti or chose UNIPORT and you were offered FU Otuoke. Is it not the same degree to be offered? Smh. Look @ the ones JAMB is willing to save from buying another UTME form. We dont have enough varsities.

whats actually paining me is Dibu's statement.....that was rude!

this policy would pave way for corruption in jamb as parents would still lobby for eligibility in top schools. Candidates would not have the drive to compete in the forthcoming jamb exams since jamb would still post them with at least a 200.

Would people still select school choices next year or they would write exam and jamb would post them?
If anyone has a better explanation for this please help me.
Come to think of it, Jamb announced 180 as cutoff for all universities...meaning that people with 180 are eligible in UI..... those with less than 200 would not come out to announce it.

As for me, I dnt think it was done randomly. I bliv the selection was based on a set mark depending on each department. Whether it is jamb or UI dat made the bench mark, I can't say bt I know jamb would nt wish to do anythin without the consent of the universities.
I chose med nd I got 241, I dnt know if anyone with lesser mark dan mine, who also chose medicine, has been able to successfully log in. Pls if u av, pls do say nd giv me more hope.
bt ryt now, I jst want to bliv the site is still having issues b4 I start raining curses on whoeva brought the shitty policy. shuld have tld us since, before we register for jamb nd why do they have to forcely allocate universities to aspirants?
nd also I think for the benefit of people like me if u ar able to log in pls state ur course nd ur mark so dat we might know if truly there is a set mark or just randomly.

My dear, there's nothing like cutoff point here o.... face the reality. Jamb selected these candidates most of whom had lower marks WITHOUT the consent of the universities...

My anger is that JAMB haven't come out to lay out the requirements candidates must meet for each course to be shortlisted. This is so unfair! Those who made this new policies dont hv their children in this country or rather hv chosen better Unis for them.
