What has the support for the PDP since 1999 earned the East?nothing.

Is it pride?dumbness?naivety? Long held hate and distrust of the West and North?illiteracy?stubborness?everything must be their ways?or the lack of any sense of direction,that is making those in the East to just refuse to retrace their steps and play the politics of commonsense?

Okorocha tried to open the East with an handshake to the West and North. But they (Easterners)will not want any of that,as they will prefer to be playing we are being treated like a" CONQUERED TRIBE" cries.

Now the PDP has dumped the East again. As Buhari's winning the last time has showed the irrelevance of their votes,and so they are COURTING the West for V.P.

It is never too late to go to school to learn. The East should buy a black slate and crayon for writing,and then attend the political teaching classes of the Yoruba's and Hausas,to learn how politics is played, to better their people.

Failure to go to school, will permanently leave them in their political wilderness.

What is APC doing for us, Nothing!!!!

At least we got something during the PDP regime and our people could do business and were happy.

Is she going to remarry? I'm not sure... Someone once married to someone like Ojukwu, shouldn't even remarry.
She isn't dumb to have chosen to run for the position if she will remarry. If she remarries, she isnt Nnewi anymore. By virtue of marraige, she is Nnewi and i will be disappointed if women in Nnewi are against her.

The senatorial ambition of the wife of the late Biafra warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu- Ojukwu, yesterday, faced a major setback as some members of the Ojukwu family vowed not to support her even if she emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA.

In an interactive session with newsmen, Dr. Ike Ojukwu, who is one of the directors of Ojukwu Transport Company Limited, OTL, said it was wrong to allow a woman from Ngwo in Enugu State to represent Anambra South Senatorial District.

He said: “Is she from Nnewi? She is from Ngwo in Enugu State. I would prefer someone who is a son of the soil, and because I come from Nnewi, I would like an Nnewi indigene to represent us.”

On his part, Emeka Odimegwu Ojukwu Jnr said: “She is apparently coming out on the platform of APGA and that is APGA’s business. They can decide on whoever they want to bring out. That should not be my business but I find it curious that they want somebody from Enugu State to represent us in Anambra South.

“This is a young woman, who was supposedly married to my late father. A young woman who could remarry tomorrow maybe from Abia State or later from Sokoto State. And they want her to represent us. I wonder if there are no other people in Anambra South, who can represent us.

“Has anybody asked Odimegwu household whether we believe in her to represent us? This is a woman we don’t interact with. She doesn’t talk to us. She can’t have access to our property She can’t cross our gate in the village. She doesn’t associate with the members of the family.

“There are certain questions that should have been asked before moving in that particular direction. Like I said, APGA is free to field whoever they want to field. I know that APC is trying to field a very credible candidate and when we get to the field of justice we will see what happens.”

Also speaking, a legal practitioner Chief Debe Odimegwu Ojukwu, said: “As a lawyer, I would say no. why I said no is that there are so many marriages, even when you look at Nollywood, there are many marriages everyday but that does not make it legal.

“Why I am arguing this is because there was a woman my father married in a court, and that marriage was never nullified, and my training as a lawyer tells me that when there is a subsisting marriage, subsequent marriage or attempt at marriage becomes null and void.”

Due to the incessant rain, a road in Anambra state that links commuters to Awka, the state capital yesterday divided into two after a heavy downpour.

The Nibo-Umuawulu-Awgbu road is a major road that links commuters and communities within to Awka. Commuters now find it difficult to get across make their daily dealings.

Government urgent attention is highly needed to fix and make it easier for the people.

I will never forget the most horrific day of my life, it happened two months ago... I had severe tooth pain so I decided to see a dentist because I couldn't endure the pain. After the dentist (a young man) examined my tooth( upper pre-molar) without any medical equipment, he suggested I should choose between tooth refilling or extraction. I settled for tooth extraction. Immediately he started the extraction process. He injected the first anaesthetia to numb my gum, my gum felt normal (note: each anaesthetic dosage is injected twice or more on both sides of the gum close to the aching tooth). Then came the second dosage, my gum felt the same not numb yet... He tried pulling my tooth and I screamed so hard, he stopped. He injected the third dosage, repeated the same process of pulling my tooth that still did not work.. At this point he used a sharp hook like object to prick my jaw hardly to know if I felt pain.. Since the third dose did not work he injected the fourth dose then tried pulling my tooth .He did the same until the fifth dose.. At this point I shouted, though my voice was no more audible because my jaws and chin were swollen blood over.. I told him that he is trying to use force to detach my tooth from my skull. The dentist became confused, not knowing what to do he had to call a senior colleague.. I was given the 6th, 7th and 8th dosage with tooth pulling after each dosage... Finally I was told to come back after two days. I discontinued the tooth extraction, and yet no refund of the money I paid..

There are many quack medical practitioners everywhere we just need to be careful...

So the tooth didnt shift at all?
