WAVEACADEMY: in a country where unemployment rate is at 67%, wave academy seek to reduce that figure by placing 600 unemployed youths in entry level retail and hospitality job before year end 2015. the vacancies are available the question is, do you have what it take? WAVE ACADEMY is a non-profit organisation launched earlier in 2013 by four West Africans at Harvard Business School with the sole purpose of tackling unemployment in Nigeria by training unemployed youths on employability skills required as well as find jobs for them in retail, hospitality and service industry. Ten training cycles have been conducted between September 2013 and March 2015 with over 142 trainees, 75% are now gainfully employed in the hospitality and retail industry.
CRITERIA must possess minimum of ssce cert must be btw 18-35 must be ready to undergo a mandatory 3wks rigorous training(8am to 6pm) must reside in lagos or be willing to relocate pls note that we charge a token of 10k for training and 1/3 of your first month salary after we have placed you in a job, incases where an applicant is financially challenged and cant afford the 10k training fee, we can work out a form of payment plan which will enable the applicant pay for the training after we have place the applicant in a job.
