You might have just damaged your applications irretrievably, it is always emphasized on this thread DO NOT LIE many peeps had families working in the same city/state they are going and still get approved ,you failing to mention a sister in the city you wish to school is a dangerous oversight, i'll tell you what is more dangerous - adding your sister to your application at this point, ride it out without her

Ok ...thank you very much . Will do that

Hello,
Background story: i have a sister in US and she works in the same city as the school i want to attend. Honestly it was not planned. She just recently finished school and got her first job there.
My first application: i lied that i had no relatives.
Should i say the truth in my second DS160 or stick with my lie?
Also i was denied on Tuesday. Will going for another interview after 2 weeks be a red flag?

Please this is my transcript i have planned for my second interview. What do you think? And what other question should i prepare for?

VO: Why are you going to US or tell me about your program
Me: i want to purse a Masters degree in Information Communication Technology at University of Kentucky.

VO: why University of Kentucky?
Me: University of Kentucky has a good ranking for the ICT program. Their curriculum includes different library science courses which for me as a library scientist is a big plus because I would get to gain ICT and advanced Library science knowledge. Also they were sent my an email encouraging me to complete my application which me feel welcome

VO: what would you do after your program or your future plans
Me: i would come back to take up an employment at the University of Ibadan Library and Information Science department. I have always wanted to lecture and in the long run i plan to be a consultant to provide longlasting solution to the problems in business, communities and government technological loopholes in Nigeria. Also, to take over my parents business as i am the only son.

VO: who is your sponsor
Me; My parents

VO: what do they do?
Me: they are into business. They own various hotels in various cities on Nigeria and own a construction company.

VO: what course will you be taking?
Me: ICT in society, information architecture, knowledge management, cybercrime and digital law enforcement.

VO: why were you denied your first time
Me: i think because i did not give enough ties back home

They say there is evidence...smh. we are talking about how they defrauded and looted public funds some so called "anonymous witnesses" are putting suspense like it is season movie.I say all of them should be arrested. it is bad enough that they diverted public funds, now you claiming to have the names of beneficiaries is double offence!!!! #notocorruption
