egift: Jonathan is just Pandering for Votes. Spent 5yrs with not well articulated plan for the nation. Set up numerous committees that he never acted upon. Looted trillions of Naira and presided over the deaths of many.
Now that he faces Failure in this election with no plan for the future, Jonathan's only resort now is to do anything to pander votes. - If wearing a Halloween military costume will give him a 5mins fame, Jonathan will be all over it. - If anyone will accept, he will start sharing dollars immediately. - Jonathan will not mind kneeling to the Obas even if they will point sticks at him. - Any pastor who will accept his special offering, Jonathan will be there on his kneels. - Now that his wife is embarrassing all "womanity", Jonathan is organizing few billions to subdue the shame. - If Nigerians are Marching for Buhari, he will quickly call Yobo and open the gates of Aso Rock Elementary School.
As the cold of Defeat is surrounding you, Jonathan What Next? RANTING OF AN ANT. |

papaejima1: To nigeria yes but to Niger And Chad No! Niger and Chad will be caught in the middle if Isis fighters from Libya decide to push south while BH pushes north. Both nations will have their militaries fighting at opposite ends of their countries thereby making them more vulnerable.
But Nigeria has the problem only in the north and can hence isolate it within the region.
Also if Isis pushes into Chad and Niger with their pool of poverty stricken populace, then the problem would be exacerbated as the tuaregs and other groups join them in droves.
The earlier we sort out BH in naija the better for us. Hit them and hit them hard. No mercy. Let amnesty and co shout but root them out so we can be more prepared for the greater threat from ISis should they put their sights on Chad or Niger.
I dont want to talk about cameroun because it would fall like a pack of cards if chad withdraws its troops to confront a greater ISIS problem. Their only saving grace would be the proposed AU force. You're right. |
Politics › Shekau’s Allegiance To ISIS Changes Nothing – Nigerian Army. by PhockPhockMan(op): 2:10am On Mar 09, 2015 |
The Nigerian Army on Sunday said allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria by the wanted leader of the Boko Haram insurgents, Abubakar Shekau, could not safe him. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, in an interview on the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation monitored in Maiduguri, said the entire nation, especially citizens living in the troubled North-East zone, needed not to be afraid that Shekau’s allegiance to the ISIS terrorist group would mean a renewed reign of terror. Usman said the military was in control of the situation in the North-East. Shekau’s allegiance to ISIS was contained in an audio clip posted on his Twitter account on Saturday. “With or without allegiance to ISIS, the days of Shekau has already been numbered, because all the insurgents’ training camps and hideouts in the affected North-East have been destroyed, while the terrorists have been routed from their camps and hideouts; and those who have escaped our “condone and search operations” in the Sambisa Forest and the Lake Chad Basin Areas, are on the run, abandoning their operational vehicles, arms and ammunitions,” Usman said. He said that the Boko Haram’s allegiance to ISIS was meant to cause more “fears and terror” among Nigerian citizens, because the modus operandi of insurgents, are also similar to the Islamic fundamentalists in some Middle East countries.” “Shekau’s public allegiance to IS clearly indicates that he may surrender or be killed in the ongoing joint military operations of Nigeria and three neighbouring countries of Chad, Cameroon and Niger,” Usman said. Meanwhile, a security expert, Max Gbanite, has described the allegiance by Boko Haram to the ISIS as a sign of desperation and an indication that the deadly sect is in the throes of death. Gbanite, in a telephone interview from the United States on Sunday, said that Boko Haram’s call to ISIS was an attempt to lure northern youths from affluent homes schooling in Malaysia and other places into its fold. He noted that the deadly sect was seeking for recognition by ISIS because it had lost credibility with Al-Qaeda, which condemned it for abducting the Chibok schoolgirls in April, 2014. Gbanite said, “Their (Boko Haram) pledge is a desperate attempt to be recognised by ISIS and to entice young northern Nigerians from affluent homes like Ibrahim Uwais and the young Abdulmutallab and others schooling in Malaysia into their fold. “Already, they have foreign boots from Central African Republic, Chad, Niger and Mali. Federal Government must continue to pound and pound until they are annihilated.” Copyright PUNCH.All rights reserved. mikeansy: There is really not a lot to learn in a debate between GEJ and GMB. The only reason it is important to have this debate is so that we begin to build a culture of democracy. Buhari is once again denying Nigeria's democracy the chance to grow stronger just because of political expedience!
But guess what, Buhari will soon beg to be part of this debate! If he gets disqualified by the courts he will seek opportunities to legitimise his candidacy until the Supreme Court has spoken and then at this point GEJ will not be interested as the President would not want to be found flouting court verdict I believe you. |

Thanks PDP.
Modified....
Basically, if PDP had made funding INEC a big priority....and had made Jega get the money and materials he needed on time.....and if PDP had allowed us have light permanently.....then we won't be having issues with PVC.
If this election is flawed....PDP better not complain. They could have made things work better. For your information, PDP and FG don't have control over INEC funds. |

VickJames: This was exactly what I told the INEC officer that trained us for this election. He was coaching us as if there won't be any mistake in the electoral process but we could easily see possible faults. When asked some questions about the smart card reader, he said it was programmed to work for 8hours but when we tested it with a corps member pvc, it was not working convincingly.
I don't want a situation where I'll be beaten a black and blue for something that can be averted.
I don even tell the man say if I see gun, I go give them ballot box and smart card reader. I go even register them to vote. Jega and APC wants to put this country into crisis. |
