Good Day Folks,
My 1999 toyata Camry "tiny light" odometer suddenly goes blank and speedometer also stops working after some minute while driving.

This happens mostly when the weather is very hot, sometimes when u start the car the odometer will be blank and the speedometer doesn't move.
It sometimes comes back on by itself after driving for long.

Whenever this malfunction happens, it affects the gear selection, it takes longer for the gear to select, there is always this sudden jerk of the car when it goes blank, and I will notice the blank odometer.

Car gurus in house, please I would appreciate your inputs and suggestions on how to remedy this issue.

Thanks for this wonderful piece op, you didn't mention how to stop the beeping sound on the UPS when using the batteries.

Secondly, how is it possible for the electronics circuit in the UPS to handle so much loads e.g fridge and TVs, when it is designed to be used for low power consuming electronics?
