I like this year's contenders for their outstanding and world class performances. Unlike other years when the list is barely filled with average performers |

joseph1832: Saving humanity? Not even close, controlling humanity is more like it.
I just hope they don't mess season 3 up. Using the Fungi as the villain is a nice twist to it. It'd be nice seeing what the Fungi can do, seeing how some infected have started developing intelligence. Let's just say the attack on Jackson is the Fungi's way of testing the strength and strategy of humans...
I didn't play the game though, I'm just saying... Not much about the infected will be explored in the next season. Season 3 is Abby's story; the war between her team, and the religious group. |

Harddiskng: No way Ellie would have agreed mehn. It’s hard for Ellie to live with the fact that she would be most selfish person in the world. So Joe made the decision for her, cuz no way she would ever had said “No”.
Literally the whole world could have had a cure, but you choose not to go through with it you could lose your life. One life vs billions of people? Come on.
Everybody has it coming lol. Even the religious sect, I love the poetic justice: Ellie trying to save one of them from death cuz he was a kid, same day one small kid from the same sect is ordering her death lmao. Empathy can get you killed!
I can’t wait to see what people when news spread round the world that Ellie is immune: thinking of the possibility of a war; half (WLF) fighting to get her on the operating table and some people (possibly Seraphites) fighting for protect her (I want to believe Ellie is part if their Prophet’s prophecy) The idea of extracting a cure or vaccine from Ellie was only a probability. And what guarantee was there that the fireflies wouldn't use the vaccine for selfish reasons? |

Illusioneffect: you guys have the dumbest ideas. How in the fcking world will they make any of the three MAIN characters something they're not in the books. If you know anything about screenwriting, you'd know they can't change any character traits of main characters except it's reviving a show and not rebooting it. The three characters will be exactly how they are in the books or they'll be mildly their traits or over-the-top with their traits, they can't be something else. Plus I have said this already- the show-runner, directors and writers of the show are not new young folks who want to be too creative - it's HBO!!! not Netflix. this directors are the best in the business. I'm more optimistic than pessimistic, it's Warner Bros we're talking about here not Disney I don't expect them to make the characters different, if they do however, it won't surprise me. I haven't read House of the Dragons books, but I'm very sure Rhaenyrea isn't bisexual and yet the show made it so. HBO does not prioritise inclusiveness as much as Disney, but they do it nonetheless. |

Why didn't they cast her🤦♂️ Cailee was too old to play 14 year old Ellie in season 1. She would have been a perfect cast for season 2 Ellie though |

Politics › Re: What Nigerians Think About Tinubu's Second Term Endorsements by phr0nesis(m): 8:41am On May 23, 2025 |
CreativeOrbit: Don’t patronize me with that lazy “read again” nonsense. I read it just fine the first time—and what’s actually contradicting here is your ability to process what was said.
The man’s point was that governors and lawmakers are endorsing the president because he’s funneled more money their way—not because of national progress, not because of any transformative leadership, but because their pockets are heavier. That’s not a justification—it’s an indictment.
So when I call that out as corruption, not merit, you say I’m contradicting him? No—I’m exposing him. You’re just too comfortable with mediocrity and greed masquerading as governance to admit it.
Here’s the bottom line: if a president needs to grease the hands of governors and lawmakers with outrageous allocations just to earn their endorsement, that’s not democracy—that’s organized looting. And if you’re defending that, then don’t pretend you care about Nigeria. You're just defending a feeding trough because your favorite pigs are the ones eating.
Now go read that again—slowly this time. You actually didn't understand his statement |
