HELLO all,
Pls i want to ask what are the chances of one who applied for PGD in project management to get visa because i am thinking if IT course will increase my chance than project management..

Pls your suggestion and contribution is needed. I want to apply to Conestoga collge or Fanshawe college.
Non increases ur chances rather u should work on going for a program that is related to your undergraduate degree or ur present job if u have been out of skool for a while and then package your documents well for processing.
Cheers

I want to study and get my master degree in newfound land in memorial university, I would like to know what I need to do to get the admission plus visa into Canada, cost of living there and cost of education for my 3kids cause I intend to come along with them to study. Am currently working and would like to take a study leave for 2yrs for this. How much is the tuition fees like in memorial university
Hello, No one can completely answer ur question, just make Google ur friend. Concerning the tuition fee and admission requirement you can get that from the schools website while for the visa u can make out time to read most part of this thread say from part 7 or 8. All the best !!

Company account 9m, personal savings 4m, sponsors are parents and it a private owned company.
That seems more than enough, however did u submit all documents to show proof of funds and also how many dependants does he have. While we can only make assumptions I will suggest u request for ur gscm file so as to know what the VO thought while assessing ur documents.
Cheers

Yea, you should. I got one from one police station in Agege last year which didn't look like a headquarter or something.
This is really misleading, u can't get the police report at just any police station. If u are in Lagos go to Alagbon at obalende. Most question being asked have been answered if only people will take out time to read through previous threads.

If u had taken out time to read through the thread u would have easily gotten the answer. That said, u cannot submit bank statement older than a month as at the time of submission. U can't submit a statement ending in January by March .

I applied via paper route. Just checked my application status via their website and it says "your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa office Accra to Canada Visa application centre". Please what does that mean? Thanks house
It means a decision has been made on ur application and it has been forwarded for pick up. Just wait a couple of days and u can go to the vfs office to get it.

Hello, is it compulsory to notarize my documents. I went to high Court at ikoyi, was asked to pay 1k per page and I don't have that kind of money.. What's the implication if I don't notarize it.. And is it possible to submit original documents. Like my birth certificate and the rest. Will I get them back?
It's not compulsory u notorize ur documents, it's only good u do, originals are no more accepted except for bank statement and admission letter, as any document submitted won't be returned aside ur passport.

Please good people of nairaland for paper route can I submit photocopies for my study application? What about if I submit original documents will they be returned back to me?
This question has been answered several times, learn to read thru the thread. Original documents are no longer accepted as the only thing that would be returned back to you is ur passport. U only need to submit Original of ur bank statement and also the admission letter.

Quick question please!
I am in the process of getting all my documents for trv application.
1. Can certificate of occupancy alone serve as proof of landed properties?? Or do I need to get my sponsor to evaluate the worthhuh

2. My sponsor is my mum and she runs a business. She however has 2 of her siblings as co directors. I have a letter with the business letter head stating my mum is the managing director of the business and owns the highest shares. And the board of directors have agreed to sponsor my education in canada and use the soa of the business for entry...
The business soa has a closing balance of 9M and total transaction of 88M within the last 4 months ...
My moms soa contains 5m ...
Do I need to state the sum in which the business is willing to support with ??

3. I have been working voluntarily in an aquaculture unit very close to the house. I have an offer letter from Fleming college for aquaculture. Do I need to write this as work experience in the CIC form? I could get a letter from the farm stating I work there voluntarily with no pay! Will that fly?
I graduated 2014, finished NYsc June 2015

Please help!!!!!
1- yes you can use that
2- the company should have a document that shows the share value for each individual, u can attach that as proof she owns the highest share, also they must state categorically why the are sponsoring you and the exact amount they will provide for you.
3- Yes u should get a letter from the company, even though it's a voluntary job it shows u have been busy since u finished NYSC .
All the best!!

Hi everyone! I need some clarifications as regards these issues. 1. Is it compulsory i pay my school fees before applying for visa. 2.i will be 25 come May, does this in any way affect my application cos am applying for a first degree (undergraduate ).
1- it's not compulsory u pay ur fees before applying as so many have gotten their Trvs with payment but that depends on the policy of your school, if you school doesn't require part tuition fee payment then u can go ahead to apply. Paying tuition fee doesn't guarantee trv.
2- Sincerely going for undergraduate at an older age makes it more difficult but it's not impossible as long as u can genuinely prove ur case to the VO, u will have to read a lot through this thread say from part 8 to get more info on this, also do u have bsc b4 or this is actually ur 1st.

Is their anyway he could boost up the account to like 4M or does he have other assets you can add to it. If I may ask are u his only dependant and also are u going for UG or PG?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by phrancisco: 11:01pm On Feb 09, 2016
Thank u very much 4 u response I have already told her to read tru part 7, 8 and 9, but u know is bulky she can't just finish it in a few days time and is getting late already for Sept intake. D result she used to apply at centennial college is for science course, she said she has another WAEC which she Wrote in 2013, is art courses. She wants to know if she would get better chances if she apply with that one, and explain what she is been doing in d past 3 years. Secondly won't it raise a red flag that she is 26 and she just wrote WAEC 3 years ago.[/quote]If am getting u right u said she applied with the waec result of 2005 to the school and will like to use that of 2013 for the embassy? I think she should stick to what she started with for the sake of consistency. Her case is a complex one and hence she needs to really go through the thread very well. There is no point in rushing just to get delayed, Processing time is 9weeks so she still has enough time to apply for the visa assuming she has the admission already. Also even if she applies with the one of 2013 she still has to explain to the VO why she is just writing waec as a result of her age. Other gurus can help out more.

Hi everyone,
I am a newcomer on this thread, I have read valuable posts from gurus in the house but I do have a challenge at the moment. I am trying to use an agent to apply for my TRV since i have secured admission already. She asked me about my means of sponsorship, I told her i will be getting an outsider(non-relative) as the main sponsor and a cousin as co-sponsor. She claimed it wont fly if i don't use my parents or direct siblings, i will be refused..
Also, what is the best possible economic and social tie a single guy like me can present to be granted TRV? Considering the fact that I am over 30yrs.

I need gurus in the house to help me out on this.

Thanks to you all in advance.
That is not true, if u have read most post of the thread u will see cases where people have gotten their trv with a non relative as sponsor. All the sponsor needs do is to give a good reason why he is willing to sponsor you and the exact amount. Also as regards the ties you can present landed properties or investment documents since u are not married if you have that.
All the best

It all depends on the applicant, most times pple that do upfront medicals do so to prevent any delays in their app. Doing upfront medical doesn't guarantee trv.

Gd evening nairalander, pls I need your help with this question; my sister apply to a school for a diploma in biochemistry in toronto dey gave her admission, but the issue is that she is in her late 20s and she applied with WAEC she wrote since 2005 and she doesn't hv a BSC or DIPLOMA. She wants go for 2 years diploma, she is also married with 2 kids. Pls I will like to know, what her chances are in getting TRV. Pls I need help on how to package her app for her to get visa, anybody who hv been in her situation and those who knows how to go about it shld pls help. Thank u for helping
Her chances depends on how strong she can prove her case to the VO, the study gap is really large so she has to give details of what she has been doing since 2005 and why she wants to go back to school at this time. I suggest u introduce her to this platform so she can read from say part 7 till present of this thread, a lot of complex applicant with large academic gap who got their Trvs explained how they did. The other gurus in the house can explain better.

Hello room,

I am a newbie so this is very new to me, lol.
I'm about applying for a study permit and so far know that i would need to submit the medical report as well as police certificate along with the application package and documents checklist. I'd like to know if there are other documents to submit and what tips i can use to make sure i get the TRV, on time too.

Please help. I don't want to start the process until i'm sure of everything.

I need advice guys. thanks
Majorly the application checklist is what is required for the visa processing but it now boils down to each individual adding extra documents to make it easier for the VO to understand their case as each individual's application is different. I will suggest u go and read atleast from the beginning of part 9 so u can get a better understanding.
All the best!!

hello guys, what's is the probability of having a successful application if I submit my document in march for may admission , that will just be 2 months for processing?
Normally processing time is about 9weeks, however it can sometimes extend beyond that even though some have gotten there Trv in shorter time. That said its always good to submit earlier so as to prevent unnecessary delays.

Hello,is it possible not to pay a tuition fee and be granted Canada study visahuh?
It's very possible, it all depends on the schools structure, some schools require u pay part tuition giving u a certain deadline while others may only require a confirmation fee to keep your seat. You can confirm with your school. That being said, paying Tuition fee does not guarantee u a study Visa.
