GM guys, a friend of mine applied for a UK pbs dependant visa together with her husband who is the main applicant. The main applicant got his Visa while the dependant was refused a visa cos they couldn't provide a marriage certificate. During application both applicant provided an affidavit of marriage according to Yoruba law and custom which was notarized by a notary public and signed at the high court in ikeja. They also provided an affidavit of change of name and news paper publication and supporting pictures of their traditional wedding and children's pictures. Still the VO is insisting on a marriage certificate. Unfortunately the main applicant is already in the UK as school has resumed. The dependant is entitled to administrative review do u think there are high chances to still insist that the only evidence of marriage they have is d affidavit of marriage or should the main applicant come back to Nigeria to conduct a court marriage immediately pls your advice is urgently needed thanks

My application was on 21st of June 2022 it is a standard uk visit visa and am traveling alone. I am thinking of sending a paid mail to them and also sending a letter written by my lawyer through DHL to the British embassy in Lagos. I will enclose my first passport in 2010 data page and the visa page and my recent application, my university in Nigeria certification that I graduated in 2009 .What do u think? What other option do u think I can employ. The lawyers I contacted in the uk are asking for huge some and I can’t afford it. Exploring local options please am open to suggestions

Hi guys, good morning. I need your help I applied for a standard 2 years uk visit visa in June and got a refusal mail today 30th of august 2022. The content of d mail is not in any way related to me. My first passport was gotten in 2010 and my first 6 month visa to uk was in 2010. I also did my masters in uk in 2012 then I had a 2 years student visa. After d expiration of my student 2 years visa I also got another 2 years visiting visa in 2014. I have been in Nigeria since then. I applied for a 2 years visit visa now and was refused. In 2008 I was still an undergraduate not even gotten a Nigerian passport not to talk of a uk visa. I have never been deported nor had any criminal conviction both in uk and Nigeria, I don’t drive not to talk of driving license. I have never been banned nor seek asylum. I think there is a mix up with some other person’s application. Pls how do I sort this out what are my options. I will attach a copy of d refusal

I had a son who is British citizen for a British partner but the father is not responsible for him. He only got him a British passport. I left the uk when he was 6months back to Nigeria. I applied to go to uk a year after but was refused a uk visa on d ground that I did not pay NHS bill when I had my baby. I contacted NHS and they set up a payment plan for me and I have not defaulted in payment. I pay every month. I applied for a uk visa this year and was still refused and my son is 8 years he wishes to return back to uk. Does it mean that my chances of ever goin to d uk is over what can I do. I even got NHS to write me a letter to the embassy still they refused me . Am thinking of reapplying
