Aniaino2341:it doesn’t matter what your brother’s life or circumstances are… it is your circumstances that count on whether you will be issued a visa or not . What is the probability that you’ll come back 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 7:00pm On Sep 21, 2022 |
Aniaino2341: Nothing compares to having your own fund to support oneself. I don’t think embassy sees it as a good thing when you are using someone else fund to go on vacation. It is acceptable to apply for a visa and say that a family member is paying for your studies, but doing so for a vacation is not a good one because the embassy wants you to show that you have home, family, and economic ties to your country. I'm aware that some people do obtain it through family sponsorship, but the likelihood is quite low. Don't get me wrong; you can count yourself among the fortunate. I am not here to discourage you. Just want to give you heads up that you need to do your homework right before you apply. Include all the documents you know will help your application. I am not an employee of any embassy. This is just my own personal view. 1 Like |

cubby4: It is not unusual for mistakes to be made. It is important that you check your Visa as soon as it is granted for any mistakes and that these are reported to the UKVI immediately to avoid you pay for a replacement. You can report the mistake to UKVI online. Use the link below https://www.biometric-residence-permit.service.gov.uk/correct-mistakes/location 1 Like |

Krystalzkris: You can apply for transit visa through France or any of the Schengen countries. You need the following if you apply through France - Passport plus 1 photocopy - Flight reservation - visa to your final destination plus 1 photocopy - Cover letter - Evidence of fund - Passport photos (2) The amount to be paid is : 80 euros (€), or about 35k NAIRA. If your application is straightforward, the processing time frame takes between 1 and 10 business days. 2 Likes |

Dear All Unfortunately, my visit visa refused! it is disappointing but what is more disappointing is that reason for refusing! You state that you spend up to £1,731 per month on living costs. You state that you will pay the costs of your visit and you will spend £1,350 on your proposed trip to the UK. As evidence of your financial circumstances and of the funds you have available to you, you have provided a bank statement in your name from **** Bank. However, I note that there are several monthly withdrawals which are higher than what you state you spend. I am therefore not satisfied that you have provided an accurate reflection of your true outgoings and personal/financial circumstances. Like seriously! what a desperate reason to refuse my visa! I clearly stated in the comment that I do not spend exact amount every month! and that is what AVERAGE means! what is more funny! I contacted UKVI (pain email) yesterday and they said your visa awaiting a decision! while yesterday I received an email after few hours that my visa is refused! What The !!!! Really disappointing! Any advice what is the best thing to do!!
