Unfortunately, the suckers may be ordinary shareholders/naija people who innocently invested with good intentions yet the regulators/government has always failed them - see nnpc spends billions every year but no benefits comes to naija people who actually owns the so called nnpcl and it's subsidiaries!!
It's better to be a trader in companies like this one....at least for now!!!

You now get alert of N900 as interim dividend after removing WTH tax from 1,000.
This one na insult for those that bought at N100 per units.

While small CUTIX is paying 15k and 1 for 1!
Looks like the big boys are just hiding their loots in some of these places to avoid any issues with keeping huge cash.

The government has already signed into law the confiscation of all dormant domiciliary and Naira accounts, including:
- Unclaimed bonds
- Unclaimed treasury bills
- Unclaimed dividends
Now, active domiciliary accounts and individual savings accounts with excess balances of N10 million might be the next target for confiscation.

From borrowing and spending on BS to Dangote to Banks to confiscation of all dormant domiciliary and Naira accounts, including: Unclaimed bonds, Unclaimed treasury bills, Unclaimed dividends.
Greed begets more greed....until the point of no return/precipice!
Let the gov't keep looking for wahala instead of cutting their coat according to their cloth!

It is now audible to the deaf and visible to the blind why the corruption in the petroleum industry in Nigeria will continue.
A lot of the beneficiaries from importation are hell bent in frustrating the indigenous companies.
After frustrating dangote refinery of crude, he went ahead to buy outside Nigeria. Since they cannot stop him from getting crude, the music changed to his refinery being at 25% and no licenses yet. On top of that, they claim the product is substandard.
This tussle will go on and on until a winner emerge. Maybe this is the time to unravel all the corruptions and those involved including the cabals in the industry.

Someone wrote on whatsapp: we have crude oil but were importing refined products because the bad ones amongst us destroyed the refineries! Now we have a refinery, we have started importing crude oil to refine!!
NNPCL is a public company yet there's nothing public about it as everything is shrouded in secrecy.
Naija is in such a conundrum that when you think things are about to get better they only get worse....
Corruption etc... has always encouraged divide and rule so no unity for common good!!!

What do you think they will do end of year in terms of dividend and bonus? I don't think they will give interim div since their announcement for Q2 is for unaudited results.

I am not sure of interim div this year but for the year-end I think they will do better than last year (which was very good at N2.54) as they have always done if you check the last few years. A bonus may even be an icing on the cake!
Please do your DD o as these are just my layman thoughts!

NGX is such a wonderful place fr! Anyway I think it’s better to swap UCAP for Zee atm (the 0.90 naira difference should cover the brokerage fees for sell and buy). UCAP is definitely one of the sweetest ride in NGX over the last decade💯.

The dilution of 1 to 2 is huge. This will weigh access future share price growth down .

It's 1 for 2 shares. So if you have 10 shares you will have the right to buy 5 new shares.
It's probably better to buy on the floor and BS the rights.
This will let the big owners get what they want....bet they know what they are doing.

In my opinion, it’s managed very efficiently, similar to gtb. If they do reconstruction I’ll be happy, although I don’t think it’s needed at this time. Their PE is very low compared to peers, they make bastard revenue and their net profit is more than its market cap with a Q1’24 eps of 24 kobo. This is the way to go if you want to delist easily and cheap.You don't arm your enemy yourself with good results. .it is common sense The minority shareholders will beg you to collect what you are willing to pay.Or you crash the price in the market and keep mopping it at lower than your offer via proxy till you collect above 90% of the shares
