Cynics will always hope as hell they re correct. Zzapo website and other social accounts are still functioning, they even posted Zzapo TV recently. They made a poor entrance into the market, and are experiencing a shacky start. I doubt the devices will be distributed at the said dates. But it will be delivered at the end...Shikina.
Most people base their doubts on the fact that the device was offered at N8k, but should technology be expensive?? Technology is meant to improve, make life easier, drive down cost and itself become cheaper.
Don't be surprised the real scammers are ur trusted brands...this techs are developed in china, vietnam, philipines, malaysia etc at toilet paper cost, branded packaged and sold to d mass market at Vintage Champaign cost.
Zzapo may deliver, but maybe not at d date promised...its just business if it works out the risk takers smile, if it fails the fn¢k!π& Cynics get to laugh.
"ZZAPO MOBILE: We are working towards making the products available For those that ordered for promo. but the product is at store now for the actual price, if they want it they can go get it at the store".
So if u visit their ikeja shop now, u can pick one up at N45k no 21days waiting.
But they already notified prospects of the change in prices after the promo period. Promo is finaly over.
ridwan4u: Checking Their site now the price of everything is ×2 or 4 . Even the USB cable of 1200 is now 4000. I hope these Indian ppl Will not give some ppl shock of their life. If u work with Indian b4 u will understand me better , Very heartless ppl .
ogasman: Not bad it will be just coding of startup name and phone details changelog update from protruly to zzapo would take money to edit but nice idealist...
But u see the protruly device is a nice one its just that people don't trust it... And the battery ain't amazing if u check YouTube apart from d battery it runs a variety of hd games and great multi-task... Camera is cool... old os no fast charge available... But delivering to all Nigerians for 7999 and 10k Is too good to be true
Unless Santa came early in form of brand manager and head of zzapo India / London rakesh uphadayar to deliver these affordable device to Nigerians.
Chuksteric: I think Protruly has a lot of these devices and are parking up so maybe zzapo bought all the stock and bought the right to rebrand from them
I was only tryna tease u, u took it well tho. Ur a gud Naijan, a rolemodel Nairalander...i'll dash one of my Zzapo wen it arrives Most folks may be mouthy here on NL but none of dem want their money back as much as they do the phone.
ogasman: The total population following zzapomobile on ig 3350
So do the maths some ordered 2 each model...
These guys can't deliver to everyone... Paystack might track our payments and return money ...
But I doubt they can give everyone that paid for the phone during this promo price...
90% off discount is only available for purpose of black Friday and they have a certain number they can give out... Not to thousands of people
Whatever its gonna happen I gambled with spare money .....
In Algeria their number 1 phone is Condor plume p8 pro
They started the promo opened a great store nationwide and started selling their main price after the few days launch price...
. They waited and planned alot
I'm happy to write I use the Condor plume p8 pro I use it for HD gaming. 4k mah battery good cpu 3gb ram 16gb rom.. Pubg .. Great.. 4g Phone is worthy
I hope Nigeria can follow same with this aforementioned phone
I do not think it will be generic...it looks similar the "Protruly V10S" y'all can check it out online. I believe it may be from the same company...(u know, wen u got money u can produce ur own stuff for the market). Plus, I was at their Ikeja store and I got to see the phone, held it and messed wit it a little. Its not bad to be honest. Like i said, if what i saw and held is what they will deliver, then anyone who gets it has got a nice device. Everyones on the edge cause we've got too many bad experiences in Naija, its well sha, we go survive.
kallmemrB: With the rate of demand for this phone.. Can this people met up?... Also think its generic with a name tag
Its 12:47pm.. I stepped out of the ZZAPO outlet at Ikeja an hour ago. I was curious after i saw it ranked over 2000+ searches on Google, i checked it out and saw several e-press releases abt it allover d web. I came here on Nairaland to catch some views and opinion. The stuff didn't have much info about it, no one has used it, people who attended d product launch didn't post about it online. Nairaland too didn't help much cause 99.9% of u guys are badmouthing d product, but who we go blame, na to shine ya eye for Naija. Anyhow sha, i signed up on d site and went ahead to purchase 2 units of the Device, there was only d 64gb option available (d 128gb option was sold out according to d website). It cost me N15,997 for both.
I got payment confirmation and reciept in my email. Then this morning, i took d nxt step and visited the office, it was a scary little office and there were people making purchases and others like myself who came to make enquiries or feed their curiousity.
I saw the device, it looked very sleek, handsome, masculine ; Wit its sharp edges (i appreciate masculine). Browsing through the phone was very fluid indeed and true to the Phones headline which is its 720° Panoramic Camera is absolutely insane. I could see everyone around me, i could see my dusty shoes, i could see d stain on d shop ceiling. The store attendant jockingly said to me..."bros dis wan go show u sef as i dey try put hand 4 ur pocket from back" LoL. Some folks are of d opinion dat its generic, sorry to burst ur bubbles but there's nothing generic about dis fone.
I couldn't check much of its other features due to the growing crowd. I handed it over to d store attendant, to avoid the Barrister Mikes experience ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vRZQpr4K80).
In summary, d fone is super gbaski. I told my lil sis about it and her response was SCAAAMM... bro y will u fall 4 it?? my answer to her was, "babe, I'm Sanguine...i say yes first, den ask questions later...i fire first den aim later...who knows?? I might just send lucifer to an early grave b4 judgement day, save God all the stress and earn some stars on my crown. D Same S#!t i did some tym ago wen i said yes to MMM made about N5m frm d program b4 it went dead...abegiii!!!
To all of us who took the risk & made a purchase...i wish us all d best of luck. To all of us who purchased more dan one unit of d device, i hope we all smile to d bank and do "Ntoi" to d Cynics. To all the pro and amateur Cynics spreading Zzapo fear allover d web...I hope and pray y'all don't end up Laughing at our "silliness"
Embassies and their pain on the butt bureaucracies... Why don't you just apply for a different visa category e.g Tourist and attend ur conference without wahala.
integrity85: Good morning, Bro. Please, my wife is a lecturer and she has an international conference to attend in India by next month. All her documents are ready. But she wasn't attended to at the Indian Consulate on two occasions because they are insisting that the conference organisers are meant to get clearance from the government of India. From our check, Nigeria is not among the countries that would need such clearance. Even when we consulted the conference organisers, they said the same thing. They even sent mails to the Indian Consulate to buttress their stand. The consulate officials wouldn't let her attend the interview still, insisting that Nigerians must provide clearance before they attend conference in India.
Please, do you have any idea on how to go about it as we are already behind schedule? Thanks
muyiwaadekunle1: Though i am not a driver yet but the touching stories i have read on this platform doesn't sit too well . Using a car worth of over 1m is not advisable anymore considering the slashed fare, more waiting time and New road users law. HP of 3.5m or rentals of 35k a week is a lot brother.
Chuwaa: 3.5m is too much. The cost of the car is about N1.9 It should be around N2.6 max hp. If you pick the car eventually, try and negotiate first week free to learn the ropes
