How some of you manages to drag a whole lot of gibberish to this board scares me at times.

So one GIF now defines a player's overall play? Like one particular action analyses a player's strengths and weaknesses? Mehn this is beer parlor punditry at its best.

I have seen RVP waltz past JT with relative ease, leaving our then captain for dead in an EPL game. I have also seen Ayew reduce JT to a belly dancer in an EPL game. If your beer parlor punditry is anything to go by, JT is simply a useless defender who defends stupidly innit?

Over the years, I have seen many decent defs who were unfortunate to fall for a player's guile and artistry. It had never been anything new and will never be anything new. Some of those moments includes; Senderos vs Drogba, Ferdinard vs Aiyegbeni, Ashley Cole vs C Ronaldo, Every Defender vs Ronaldinho, Puyol vs Di Maria, Boateng vs Messi, Luiz vs Suarez, Ivanovic vs Montero, Smalling vs Kante, Koscielny vs Hazard, Batra vs Bale and many more and more.

I am sure the almighty Baresi had his moment too. It's nothing new. I play footie almost every week and I see adjudged top defs fall for cheap tricks. Like who doesn't?

So why is Rudiger getting the sticks for his? You all would be making sense if getting mopped on the turf is actually a thing Rudiger is known for but unfortunately it isn't.

The nigga's weaknesses from what i've seen are delivering decent crosses and committing fouls. It's nothing near falling like a bag of cement when approached with the ball. His performances at the just concluded Confederations Cup speaks volume of the player he is.

Say NO to beer parlor punditry and analyse a player's strengths and weaknesses with more than one blip.

Moreover, Conte's backline is always that water-tight with enough protection guaranteed from the short devil in midfield, so why create a debate that doesn't even exist?

Despite being my nigga, I still have my fears about Rudiger and it's the one fact that he is injury prone. That is an angle y'all should be concerned about.
so you play footie every week with adjudged top defenders.
Abeg na who adjudge them

If Conte is still going to waste his time teaching and lecturing a 34m CB how to remember he is a CB and not a mopping stick,he could have invested all that time in Ake

Ya all were quick to point out Ake's mistake against Watford in a dead rubber game despite bossing Spurs.......but now that it is Rudiger,Conte will improve him

Ya all just don't trust youths
all of them, plus conte and guardiola don join Mourinho.

That is how transfers work. It happens all the time. A club needing to sell a player to balance the books will offer you another player that they are happy to sell even though you approached them for a different player. It is not uncommon to go ask for example Monaco for Fabinho, and Monaco will respond saying actually we would like to keep Fabinho but we can make Bakayoko available for X amount.

That's how Leeds phoned Man Utd to discuss Denis Irwin and before they knew it, Leeds intimated to them the availability of Cantona.

I surmise that Chelsea made an enquiry for Manolas. Roma, knowing that Chelsea hold a long-standing interest in Rudiger took Manolas off the market and offered Rudiger instead which Chelsea were happy to go with because they need an established defender anyway. If they miss both Manolas and Rudiger, they might not find a defender till window close.

It's like a barefooted person coming to your shop to buy shoe, but you offer him slippers instead because he is the only person that has ever shown interest in buying slippers. Meanwhile you know you can sell the shoe at any time because many people are showing interest in shoe.

Nothing in-house here, unless you have been living under a rock. It is no secret that Rudiger was chased heavily by Emenalo in 2015 but Jose insisted on John Stones.

how about the claim that Roma knowing they could only sell rudiger to chelsea, convinced you about andoning a manolas that was practically sold to zenit before to get rudiger instead
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by PietroRico(m): 8:22pm On Jul 10, 2017
So Chelsea went to Roma for manolas and somehow came back with rudiger.

I'm sure that's how arsenal wanted Rio Ferdinand but got Sylvestre instead

Some Chelsea fans trying really hard to console themselves that Lukaku chose united because of raoila and agent fees, because raoila has the capacity to force Lukaku to a club he really doesn't want to go. .

OK mate
