Selling gold is really not a good idea in my opinion, there is a pandemic , fear, news of global recession , uncertainty . The safest asset right now is gold, it has always been . During this period, fundamentals should be taken seriously as per gold trading. There is definitely possibilities for pull backs ,either minor or major here and there but i think the safest position to be as per gold is the bulls, good entries is where the work is.

I think the overall movement still Favour down though the current move target 1718 till around 1728 level for down move resumption... Weekly, daily, and 4hrs all show serious potential for down move... I wait to take position sha make we see wetin go happen.. Weekly close will show us direction for the rest of the month me think

1718 is definitely a ceiling in sight. All in all , sound management is key

Gold wants to close above the earlier 1683 level to show that bulls still are very much active and is even forming so many bullish candle patterns on LTF. But this is my plan, I think the Asians are setting this up so they get a good price to sell off when the Chinese come in. I'm holding sells and waiting for 1660 at least before London. Been an all around good day. All levels are posted if you want to buy or sell. Good night good people.

In Nigeria, there is this rule of thumb i follow as far as business is concerned, whatever business you don't have time for, don't dabble into it. Doing business in Nigeria is no beans, there are lots of factors and unforeseen that will make a mess of drawn out projections but be that as it may, resilience and many other habits that makes the man with the vision effective comes into play. I have lost a lot of millions in my chosen field , but focus and stick ability with strong belief is paying off. Now its a different ball game.

I must confess i am really not happy about all the drama unfolding but here is my take.... Optimisticgondy, really sorry for your loss and the emotional trauma you may have passed through, but i do hope you will be able to learn some lessons and move on.

A lot of things have been said about meshpips, we all have our own experiences . I personally don't dwell on anybody's shortcomings (we all have one or more) . Every one has something positive to offer . As far as i am concerned, meshpips is a great guy, and he has so much to offer . We are like a big family here even though we all have our individual beliefs . Lets try and correct in Love , the message will be well understood in that atmosphere. I totally agree Meshpips could have shown more remorse to the situation .

We need each other here. Trading could be so boring , and thats why we have a community. i could remember sometimes back when this thread was totally empty, maybe 1page in 4 days or so, i really dont want people to start leaving and going back to times like that.

To the new traders, this is just a phase, remain focused, learn the lessons, Risk management is very key. i personally dont joke with it.

Guys? Who is ready to play the patience game with CADJPY?
Ok, here is how its goes!
CADJPY has been making lower highs and lower lows. So I am expecting the down trend to continue but the thing is,
as seen in the chart, whenever it makes a lower high, it consolidates for over 14 days before it drops. Now its making a lower high.
As seen, the consolidation in box 1 took about 16days and the consolidation is box 2 took over 20days.
As such, i am expecting same consolidation in box 3 with almost the same number of days.
but the beautiful thing about playing the patience game here is, it drops fast by over 400 pips after the consolidation.
So if you are able to wait on it, i reckon you add it to your watchlist.
