i did some analysis on gold now and i feel i should share....

Gold is going for a long bullish run... look for an opportunity to enter with a small lot size, breakeven at 30pips .Then leave the trade without a tp for now... i suspect its going to do at least a double top on the daily...now that is a looong ride

on my chart, the downward momentum has gone down... pinbar forming on 4hr coupled with a double bottom in alliance with overall trend.... what more can one ask for.... never the less... uncertainty is always there but i think the odds is in my favor

aguiyi: yep but if price does not crossed the 15m cloud i will not enter the second sell rather i will wait for price to bounce on the 15m cloud and close the first sell thereby leaving my first trade which is a buy.

The strategy working for you is all that matters... cheers bro

aguiyi: my sell trade is activated, leaving me with 2 trades on 1 pair, one buy the other a sell.

i will then look for the prevailing trend and enter with a higher lot such that i will break even .

how do i know the prevailing trend will be the nest question i guess, well

i use the MTF ichimoku cloud. i put the 15m,1h and 4h cloud on a 15m chart, if price is below all 3 clouds, then i will look for a pull back and short , if its under 2, i will do the same thing with tp on the 4h cloud but if price is below only the 15m cloud, i will wait for it to either bounce on the 1h cloud and go long or wait till price cross back above the 15m cloud before closing the pending sell that was activated leaving the but trade to run.

its been working for me sha. sometimes such trades run into 2 or 3 days thats why i borrow patience sometimes

so if i understand you clearly, you are not going to close that long order, you will wait for a pull back and enter the second short after fulfilling the conditions you stated above with a bigger lot size before closing the long??

hmmm, hedging tins... how do you manage your long trade if it turns to south and does not look back?

for those thinking going long on gold, shine your eyes o

aguiyi: you can never take all the pips on the table, just get the ones you can and look for another set up. if possible in other pairs.

if you have an open trade and can not walk away from ur system or even concentrate on other things then you will need to check ur position sizing (lot size) as its obvious its too big.

assuming you have $100 account, divide the $100/500 = 0.2, its means that if you take a position using 0.2 lots, then the market will have to move 500 points before that account is blown but the truth is, how many traders can wait for the market to move 500 pips before they make $100.

How do you manage fear and greed ? you are in a position trading with a mentality of always cutting your losses and allowing your profit to run... result, you get too many losses and breakeven,so you feel maybe if you were not greedy, you would have taking that profit at 100pips, now working with the mindset of not being greedy, at 100pips you quickly take your profit only for the trade to move like 800pips, you now feel you took your profit out of fear

That is a good one, artisans have regular daily income once they are very good with their skill..... now i understand your background better.

My advise :

Drop FOREX trading.... go for your apprenticeship in plumbing with someone you know who is good, while doing that have your education at the back of your mind.... you could go to a technical school. From there , you can be getting plumbing jobs. A typical artisal is paid 2500-3000 daily for services rendered depending on where you are.

Since you said you are not lazy, while doing all i said above, goto babypips.com and learn forex from the basics and open a demo account, that is if you are still passionate about trading and not because of the money in it.

if you can archive what i said above, i MIGHT be interested in following up your progress making sure you succeed.

He does not need to deposit anything. i m more particular about the learning process anyways. But i will advise him to try and get a job first to meet his basic needs.
