Dear Romancelander,

I met this beautiful lady online months back and we connected very well, the chemistry was on point even though we have not physically met, I felt we could do future together.

After about 3 months online "dating", we decided it's time we hook up on a physical date.

I gave her the privilege to decide place and time and she opted for a grocery store around her end.

Trust me, I got there on time, went straight to the restaurant upstairs while I anxiously await my date to arrive. While waiting for her I did lunch and as I was rounding off she walked in majestically, a beauty to behold.

We sat down and chatted for some while, after which i offered her lunch, she surprisingly went for a simple meal of rice and beef with bottled water which cost me less than 2k. I was not impressed my her simplicity, it also encouraged me that I have found a partner.

After we are done with lunch and since it was valentine season, i offered to get her cake or even ice cream at the grocery down stairs which she obliged to.

As we walked through the store, she said there's this particular chips she likes so we looked the shelves but couldn't find it. Then I told her she could go for something else since we couldn't find the chips there, she excitedly repeated " you mean I can pick any other thing?". She immediately pulled her hands from mine and excused herself that she will be back in a jiffy.
She did show up in a jiffy armed with a shopping basket.
She started picking stuffs in two's, biscuit, ice cream, yoghurt, juice, drink, she picked 3 different spices of big Pringles and the one that hit me hard was that she also picked 2 loaves of family size bread.

I was just following her around, though picked a little stuff for myself.
We got to the cashier, after checking in her items she stepped aside and I paid over 12k for the items she picked.
We got to the bus stop and I gave her some cash for t.fare.

I am so discouraged by her extravanganzy on a first date. If she had picked a perfume or even cake worth 15k, I wouldn't have bothered but what she picked and why she picked in two's is why I'm concerned.

Anyways, since then, I have withdrew from her and hardly respond to her calls.

I felt embarrassed by the whole thing and unfortunately I now see her as a hungry girl.

Please, my people, I'm I right to draw back from her 9r should I stick to her?

Someone is building and another is collapsing, this is not an ideal marriage.

I once discussed finances with my ex and how we can booster our family if we get married and she bluntly said she is not a team member when it comes to finances in the home that everything is surely on my shoulders. I then asked what if I open a multi million business for her and help her grow the wealth? She replied that the money that she will generate from the business belongs to her and si should never worry how she spent the revenue even if the business is 100 percent done by me. That was it, a selfish woman with almost zero responsibilities.

The problem is that most men don't discuss finances with their partners before marriage and they give out the persona that every bills in the family will be taken care by them which in reality isn't so. Imagine a worker who pays all her bills before she got married can no longer even pay her transportation fare even when she receives her salary the previous day what irresponsibility and zero accountability.

You brought this up on yourself by not setting out the ground rules during dating and even during marriage. A way forward, call for a management meeting in your family and discuss your grievances as well as the way forward in order to strengthen the togetherness and team work in your family.

The disadvantage of building alone is that it will take you a longer time to do that than when you build together. Currently you are building alone, you need to bring her into your team.
