I have noticed that everybody seems to be picking on catholics generally nowadays, why? I mean the last I checked, We still have a freedom of worship in this country or has that freedom been revoked. Believe me muslims believe in more ridiculos things like killing an unbeliever with the hope of getting 70 virgins in their own version of heaven. They even believe in Holy Wars till today but no, nobody seems to take offense. Pentecostal churches believe in paying through their nose for tithes and placing their pastors in a (ridiculosly) cmfortable position so that he will have the strength to 'pray well' for them but no , nobody seems to notice that? The way things are going! Whatever happened to the good old 'keep the grand commandment : love your neighbour as you love yourself?'  |

@ blackgee Are you a fan of the gorilla who ran away from the zoo or what? Till next millenium I think,, no, I know that Prof Chinua Achebe tops the list followed closely by Chimamanda Adichie. Check Out "Half Of A Yellow Sun" by Chimamanda. These people know what culture is all about. Their books are so real and vivid & the characters seem as if they are interacting direcly with you. I've read that book by BABA, It's good but it's nothing compared with the works of these great people. 1 Like |

Hey girl. You're really very brave to confess such a thing, knowing what it could probably cost you. U did the best thing and as a clear conscience fears no accusation, I think you should just let him be. Get up and make something out of your life girl! He's not worth it. He most certainly does not know your worth. You are a girl and it might not be easy but it can be done! Get over him and MOVE ON. , Not that you won't accept him if he comes back sha. But that will be after enough SHAKARA O! Make him sweat well well before u accept him! |
