**THE NIGERIAN CANCER STORY;

For Nigerians and especially our celebrities, cancer is no longer an ailment to only imagine. It is one that is currently ravaging our ranks and reducing our numbers.

A few days ago, Nigerians woke to the sad story of our beloved veteran actress, Aisha Abimbola (Omoge Campus) who reports said, died of breast in a Canadian hospital. Her death trails the death of other notable Nigerians who died of various types of cancer.

4th February was World Cancer Day, a day the National Cancer Prevention Programme (NCPP) disclosed that an estimated 80,000 citizens of the country die from various forms of cancer annually. That's alarming!

Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by out-of-control cell growth.
