AyaE:
Hello Guys, my grant just came in today!!!!
Thanks to everyone who has contributed on this thread one way or the other on this thread. It has helped immensely.
My time line:
Submitted application-31st July 2019
Conditional offer- 15th July 2019
CoE- 24th November 2019
Biometrics- 27th December 2019
Submitted Visa Application- 25th January 2020
IELTS Score- 7.0 (I had a minimum band score of 7.0 so my average was 7.0). I got a waiver from the school so I didn't need IELTS for school admission. My agent advised I write one for visa so I did.
School- Flinders University
Sponsor's account: My maternal uncle. Submitted 2 bank statements. One had 18m and the other was a fixed deposit account that matures every 30days. It had 13m.
Course- Social work (masters)
BSc- Microbiology
Agent: PFL
Submitted my credentials, letter from sponsor, proof of relationship to sponsor (uncle & Mum's NPC) and sponsor's account statement. I didn't submit payslips or my account statement sha.
Challenges faced: I already had an MSc in Microbiology so applying for a second masters was what I had to prove. Plus, with Social Work being a high risk course I had to write a convincing SOP. (I can share that with anyone interested cos mehn this took me like a month to write). My work experience was also a bonus cos I work as a care assistant.
Sometime in December the bank statement I used for the school admission could no longer be used cos he had to move the funds to another bank for investment reasons. He had to submit another letter to this effect. He also had to back it up with the fixed deposit account.
School resumes on Monday so if anyone could help with flight and accommodation links, I'd be most grateful.

Thank God!!!!!!!
Congratulations

Then what do you advicehuh??[/quote

She can apply but just like softkey said, there are alot of factors to consider...but since she has been working after her HND then she's good to go.. other ogas in the house can also share their advices.

[quote author=Graceee post=86520373]House please do you advice someone who just finished her HND 2018 and about to apply for undergraduate bachelors in 2020 to include employment details for an undergraduate visa application?
Or
would it be better if the person indicates no employment detail because she will be sponsored by her husband.
[/quote

If she's above 23years old it would be difficult for her to get an undergraduate visa.

I was also contacted today and they requested for further docs. Updated bank statement, Sponsor's Data page and Letter from school to allow me resume late. Still hoping for the best.

To anyone with unfavorable outcome right now, let's wipe our tears and come back stronger.

Students are also driving without converting in Victoria but everything changed last October, everyone have the grace of 6months to convert. Even if you're a student in NSW, the duration given by law is 3months, ppl are just risking it and that doesn't mean the law is not in place.
I'll be heading to Queensland, I don't know if the law of converting applies there

Hi My Fellow Australians

Happy New Year!

Is anyone relocating (or planning to relocate) to Sydney? My family and I are happy to host you for a few days till you find your accommodation and generally settle down. In fact, you will be welcomed with hot, spicy Jollof and cold orange juice, with the possibility of dodo, and of course all for free.

What is in it for us?
Nothing, or should I say the blessings of God.

So why are we doing this?
Well, let's just say, it is our own way of giving back and serving God this year. When we arrived a fellow Nigeria we barely knew took us in, accommodated us and feed us for FREE. So yes we are giving back.

Why Should You Trust Us:
Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a convincing answer. As Nigerians, I know we know SCAM is real. But I am happy to answer questions to ease your fears.

Family Composition
We live toward Western Sydney
Family of 3
You get a room to yourself.

Let's all have a grant/visa-filled year.

PS: happy to answer all Syndey related questions. Being here for a while now.
God bless you and your family.....what a kind heart
