bligs: Your best shot is graduate entry of nursing with a strong SOP stating why you are changing carrier path as well as strong home ties why applying for visa not sure if Bsc nursing will fly if you tender your philosophy degree. OK thank you for your reply, God bless you |

bligs: No Uni will give you Bsc of nursing with Waec without doing one year compulsory foundation course. OK.. .but with my bsc in philosophy can I still get admitted into nursing? |
Travel › Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by pitman10: 5:56am On Nov 24, 2018 |
WestAfrican: Check to see if your Major or something related to it is on SOL. If YES do apply for a master's program.
To start with, if your WAEC/NECO can get you Nursing admission in Australia then apply for a BSc in Nursing. You mau choose to state or not state in your SOP that you already have a degree in Philosophy but wish to change career. Also get your sponsor to write a letter saying they are in support of new career path and are happy to sponsor you
If you do have an interview with your CO, asking what you have been doing in the interim of your graduation from High school. Ensure you tell them the truth. Yes my waec can lead to bsc of nursing |

perfectme: Good day house. I just got admission for a diploma in early childhood education and care in TAFE QLD for 1.5 years although I tried to package it to make it two years or more but I was only offered the 1.5 years diploma. (I considered tafe because of the cheap fees) Please what are my chances and options of staying back after my course, should I accept the offer and pay my fees? Note : they were the only school that gave a positive response among all the schools I contacted. Did you write any test before given the admission? |

bellong: Individuals will have to determine the occupation to nominate by him/herself. Occupation to nominate depends on other factors aside course of study largely being what the person is currently doing.
The experience the person has is as important as the course s/he studied. It will be difficult for anybody to 'prescribe' an occupation without knowing what your friend does.
That being said, your friend can help himself by going through the occupation list to identify any that is related or closely related to what he currently does. Going by his course of study, chemist would have been the best option but it is not sponsored by any state neither is it on the 189 list. Good evening everyone. ...pls I graduated this Month from the university studied philosophy, 21years old, pls what kind of visa can I go for.. ..pls I need ur advice |
